Why is meat cooked?

Q: Why do most people order their meat medium well or well done?  A: It is normal in the West/USA because of JudeoChristian cultural societal foundation. Red in meat today might be protien juices but to Judeo- Christian people, it appears as blood, so they ask their meat to be fully cooked, and it is due to religious reasons.  Genesis 9:3-4  God said, "Every moving thing that lives shall be food for you. And as I gave you the green plants, I give you everything. But you shall not eat flesh with its life, that is, its blood." Leviticus 17:11  "For the life of the flesh is in the blood" Leviticus 17:14  "For the life of every creature is its blood: its blood is its life. Therefore I have said...You shall not eat the blood of any creature, for the life of every creature is its blood. Whoever eats it shall be cut off." [put to death] In New Testament we were told  Acts 15:29 the Apostles led by the Holy Spirit said, "abstain from what has been sacrifice...

Should I not watch that? & on other Worldly diversions

Born again believers, Scripture tells us what to think on and be careful what we allow into our minds. Today in the west progressive anti Scriptural things are being subtly and overtly added to everything on tv from tv shows, to movies, to cartoons, to music to the news, to everything online. What we consume from the world is drawn into our hearts and minds, it can seer us to the truth and believe subtle lies of Satan and cause us to behave based on sinful and false emotions vs truth, to think and speak and act and hold to a unbiblical worldview. Many many in the Church know every tiny detail about 100s of tv series' and 1000s of movies, and a million things about their 50 favorite music groups or singers or celebs and all the 100s of thousands of statistics on 3,000 sports people and several teams and several sports genes but they know little to nothing about the Bible. Have they read it cover to cover 100x? Have they memorized 2,000 of the most important verses & meditate...

Eyewitness Testimony

Thinking thru the validity of Eyewitnesses   Q: Mark Matthew Luke and John; 4 Gospels; 4 different witnesses and 4 different stories. How would that even hold up in court? Theyre different so isnt someone lying?  - Jew,  seeking clarity A: Differences are normal with Eyewitnesses. Are you unaware of how eyewitness statements work? Think of 9/11. If you were alive. If not, go back to view the news videos. One main big event, 100k thousand or more witnesses from then gave different eyewitness statements to that event. Even the news anchors talked about all the various eyewitnesses. Even the 8 billion people on earth that saw that unfold either live on the air or in news about it just right after, or later that day. >> Even in the weeks and months after; the volunteers and govt agencies who tried to rescue people from the rubble, and their experiences in the clean up efforts.  5 years later they asked people "Where were you on 9/11?" I am an eyewitness to that eve...

Eternal positions 👑

Image
It might not surprise you to learn we are told in Scripture to "store up treasures in Heaven". You might have even heard about " Rewards or crowns " but might not have understood that they go back to Jesus. You might even be more surprise to learn there are Eternal Positions given to faithful believers and connect the dots from Scripture that we will get the blessing that go with it for eternity; decided at the Bema Seat.  I was studying about this after learning about it while going through an end times study.  Knowing this, don't waste your life on earth. Make it count for the eternal. Here's what I found, and you may find useful... The Bible teaches that as a Christian, when we die we receive different degrees of rewards in heaven.  There will be varying degrees of reward in heaven. That shouldn’t surprise us; there are varying degrees of giftedness even here on earth. To get a good glimpse of what heaven might be like, look at the Church. From the moment...

New UK Nazi Laws - Thought Police 😱

Image
Who wouldve ever thought something like this would happen in the West.  In Britian or UK theres a recently new law that in effect causes a Christian to be arrested for praying.  Thank God we are in America. The country of freedom, liberty, religious rights and free speech.  Tbh tho churches in every country where abortion or lgbt is legalized needs to educate the congregation on how to handle these new issues.  If you are in one of those countries here are a couple ideas:  In her case she could as soon as cops show up,  ⭐start recalling verses she has a hard time remembering, and simply say shes memorizing the Bible. Or other related ideas. ⭐tell him it isnt his business, as she isnt disturbing the peace by standing on a sidewalk. ! She doesnt even need to tell him she is praying or Christian.  If sidewalks are deemed public spaces in their country then the police are unlawfully harassing a citizen. And should be reprimanded. But also shame on police ...

Do our lives speak for us?

Do our lives speak for us as Christians to draw the world to us? No.  The world has religion and they try to act moral. So what seperates you from them as a Christian? The message.  And, looking like the world is one reason the world and its culture invaded and influenced the church. People just opened the doors and invited the unsaved in, when the Church is the redeemed and only for the local body of the redeemed ones. On the topic of Assissi... Jesus was the WORD. God "spoke" the world into being. A moral person can lead an exemplary life, but go straight to hell. If you think "the way we act *speaks* better for us than many words", you are wrong in the main sense and heres why, (so take it into consideration),... That quote is used 99% of the time by the lazy, and quasi Christianity crew, because they think it takes the responsibility of telling the Gospel off of them and on someone else. As far as mannerisms and behavior, most of the church are "growin...

Catholicism wonky 2

In a discussion about the timeline of errors around when heresy crept into the church, one topic was on end times, because of that view some grabbed hold of, a sect broke out and became known as the Roman Catholic Church.  Most historians, looking at church history, date the beginnings of RCC around late 500s to 606 AD.  During a Bible study on the history of end times error, RCC was brought up and we learn a bit more about that apostate religion. "There's a book called Israel and the Church by Ronald Diprose. This is a fascinating book and exceptionally well done. First printed in Italian; in 2004 it was translated into English. It shows the effects of this idea that the church was the new Israel and Israel was out. It had a very, very profound effect on the church in the Middle Ages on the church in the Dark Ages. Here’s how. Israel had altars, right? Worship in the Old Testament, Israel, altars, sacrifices, a sign at birth, a priesthood, a jubilee year. Israel had rituals...

Proof God Exists pt2

Atheist seeks clarity, asks Christian to expound on evidences. The prev. article answer was a basic summary of truths. For clarity on them a bit more, see below.  Many atheists claim they only believe what they see, you might be reasonable and know that isnt always the case, so the article simply gave a list of proof to the request for evidences.  However since you are genuinely looking, and seeking clarity on the 5 proofs listed, I am happy to help with that.  On Natural Revelation; what you see Atheist: This basically says ‘look at the trees’ and is no more than an argument from incredulity.  Christian: the universe, nature and human design prove a Creator. Today we can see more about His creation because he lets us investigate it. We see DNA, understand about the eye, the body and even T3SS and Bacteria Fllageum.  It all points to the intelligent Creator God who revealed Himself to us in Scripture and history.  On Special Revelation; directly from God...

Proof God Exists ?

We do not need to see something in order to believe in it, we just need to believe in the  reasonableness  of the evidence of it.  God has already provided that evidence.  Reasonable Evidence * Natural Revelation : You can see all of the Creation God made around you. The nature creation, the sky, sun, moon, stars, space. The trees, and food that grows, the animals and birds, the earth and sea and what is in them. Humans included. Today you can also (thanks to "Christian" Scientists) look at things under microscopes such as  this . And it clearly points to the Designer God, as does  DNA , (aka the Manual book of Life), and  even T3SS and Bacteria Fllageum, discussed  here . * Special Revelation : You have the Written Word of God. God wrote the 66 books of Scripture to give to humans so they know who their Creator is. Who God is, as well as Why we were created, what went wrong, why death stalks us, the promise of its defeat and how How God accompli...

Bart Ehrman

This apostate was hired by colleges to push their anti God anti Christianity  in their anti supernatural worldview taught in most college and universities today. It is why 70% of believing youth lose their faith in college,...  he and other atheist professors are good at decieving and lying to young people, and twisting truth. The schools especially like and promote him (and send him around to conferences and places) to dupe young people, bcuz he claims to have been Christian. That is the reason they use him.  He is making money off of purposely decieving people both by being a preacher/professor/lecturer against God , and by the books he sells that also decieve.  He banked on the fact that young people never look things up online but those days are over... Gen Z Alpha do go online a lot and these kids are finally finding out that teachers and professors LIE. Bart will have a lot to answer to God for, but, regardless God uses others evil to bring about his pu...

Sinners Prayer question

Q: I know leading someone thru the sinners prayer is detrimental, as it might create false converts, so what instruction can we give them to help them with genuine prayer A: When they see their need for Christ, and you as a messenger of the Gospel, a priest and redeemed one... You could pray over them as Ray does, and  1. Recommend they read Psalm 51 and pray to God the moment you part ways. You can open that up on their phone at biblegateway (under the nasb or LSB version). So they can read it.  *the person very well mightve been shocked about their situation before God, and agreed they need to put their faith in Christ, but... they really need to pray to God to repent to him of their crimes and get right. Think of a false convert who realizes they arent saved, theyll lunge to prayer to get right. So praying over someone isnt the person praying to God, but they might do so while Ray is praying over them.  2. Instead, I would give them a minute of silence after you pr...

Understanding the Law - Christians *

Understanding God's Law and Christianity It isnt that Christianity is different from the Old Testament. It is just that Jesus, in his teachings, clarified it for the Jews under the Judaism religious leaders of that time who had perverted it; it was apostate(*). *The rulers added things to the Law that God never required, causing them to have burdens they werent meant to be under(**). They were man made laws and traditions(*).  So the Messiah has come who was not only revealed, but revealed "the spirit of the Law"(*), and fulfilled the whole Law on the believers behalf(*). While Jesus work (*)  was necessary to accomplish because no fallen man; no sinner could ever pay the penalty for their own sins. [As only someone perfect could do that, like God himself, putting on human flesh].  The Law was simply meant to show us or teach us that only God is perfect, only God is Righteous, only God is Holy(*). He is the standard. The Law was simply as Scripture says, a schoolmaster to...

Young believer & peer concerns

Image
Q: Is it normal that being a Christian since young (and the trials that follow) kinda made alienated among my peers? (in school mostly, since I’m still in high school). Most of the difference in values I have observed is that my compassion, warmth and love have no place in a society that promotes indifference, apathy and self-centeredness.  And it’s the different set of problems we encounter to a day to day basis. The same way I don’t understand their frustrations over not excelling in the video games they play, they don’t understand my effort to guide people younger than me. Most of the time they think I overthink too much and I think they frustrate over non existent and self inflicted problems.  Then it’s the difference in values. My apparent “conservative” values makes me seem “old fashioned” and “close minded” compared to my peers (where everybody is fornicating). I feel like I am on a different planet.  I sometimes feel isolated too when I don’t have anyone to unders...

I prayed a prayer as a child

Q: I prayed a prayer when i was younger, doesnt that mean I am good to go? That I am headed to Heaven? A: Have you been persevering in the faith since then, or did you go into the world and live like everyone else since High School or College?  This will help you find out whether you were a false convert or are a genuine believer.  Here are helpful resources for you to  "Examine Yourself" as 2 Corinthians 13:5 tells us to.  Self Examination   Free Book  New or Growing Believers resources

Friends think I am a Zealot

Q: A lot of people around me seem worried that I have become a zealot since I got saved. Those who knew the old me have seen the radical change that comes with conversion and it seems to make them uncomfortable. I want to be a good Christian witness and want to be able to approach evangelism without them thinking I am boring. Any help and godly advice is appreciated.    A: If you are living for Christ, and with the intent to love others, and strive to do so with a loving spirit then keep on. The great witness of the miracle of conversion is that when someone us saved they're radically transformed by God. We no longer walk in the ways of the world and those still in it. But, with that said, this may help with some concerns you have, and help ensure you can do your best.  1. Do not love the World   - A message reminding us about what is in the world and how we are not. 2. Relationships as a Christian  - Reminders and great tips that many Christians dont r...

Diff btwn Salvation and Election

One is Elected (chosen/foreordained) to salvation.   Verses and doctrine from Scripture explained here on that.  Salvation occurs in three tenses.   We are saved (justified) from the penalty of our sin, the process of salvation (sanctification) continues saving us from the power of sin until our ultimate reward of salvation (glorification) where we will cast off the presence of sin.

ex atheist faith struggle

Q: I used to be an atheist, for most of my life.  I started a new life, started to focus on myself and everything was going great till I realized I felt empty and alone. My heart wants Jesus but I don't know where to start, its been years since I went to church to the point that I dont even know how to find a church. Any advice on how to know when a church is actually blessed by God? A: The below should help, but before you read that, I have a question. Are you saved?  Make sure  . If you are a new believer your fellowship with God needs to grow and get stronger. We know God more and more and hear from him in the Scriptures. Our joy overflows from taking in the Word, trusting it, renewing our minds by it, memorizing it, meditating on it, and relying on its promises and guidance in every area of our life. If you are recently saved, it will take a bit of time, to do the above. But the joy you have in Jesus saving you should might be the best & only thing you should be ...

Salvation and Election

Q: What is the difference between salvation and election? A: Salvation is a result of election. One is elected (chosen/foreordained) to salvation.   Ephesians 1:4-5  Even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. In love he predestined us for adoption to himself as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will Romans 8:30  And those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified. They are in the Lambs Book of Life since before the foundation of the world. 2 Peter 1:10  Therefore, brothers, be all the more diligent  to confirm your calling and election. Salvation occurs in three tenses.  1.  We are saved (justified) from the penalty of our sin,  2. the process of salvation (sanctification) continues saving us from the power of sin until  3. our ultimate reward of salvation...

Perseverance

When discussing the gospel and discussing salvation, it is necessary to point out the importance of perseverance.  He himself bore our sins in his body on the cross, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. 1 Peter 2:24 If we are saved our sins were placed on Christ on the cross, we were given a new nature; the righteousness of Christ, we love and live in righteousness, walking with, fellowshipping with, and serving Christ as our Lord and Savior....and we will persevere to the end.  The believer might see they are persevering and know they are saved. But, after a believer perseveres to the end of their life, they are revealed by God, before all, to show they were indeed a redeemed one.  Perseverance is the reward, as it bears unimpeachable witness to the genuineness of their faith. And those whose faith is validated by a faithful life will enjoy the crown of eternal life with their Lord and Savior. — John MacArthur Who by God's power are being guarded through f...
