Q: My country doesn’t welcome people converting from Islam. Im a new Christian living in the middle east and coming from a Muslim family. I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior, and believe in the trinity for 6 months now. I read the Bible daily ever since, mainly John Luke and Acts so far. However since im in the middle east i can’t declare my conversion publicly because most likely it would have bad consequences. This situation prevents me from going to church and studying more or get guidance. The teaching in islam of Taqiyya goes against the truth. The below will explain why.  In the book of Islam, the Koran, muslims are told they are to believe the Bible [which includes the Gospel]. It is the Word of God. If muslims are to do that [and they are] then they need to know the Bible. Not superficially but in depth.  Look at what God has said and revealed to mankind in the Holy Bible: Ten Commandments, found in the Bible, both in Exodus 20:2-17 and Deuteronomy 5:6-21 reflect the perfect nature of God. He is morally perfect, righteous and holy.  Humans are made in the image of God.
