Q: I’ve heard caution that there are some Christian singers that listening to their music isn’t worshiping God. Some Christian music is more about me in my flesh. Can anybody let me know what Christian singers I can listen to that are actually worshiping God?  A: More than likely theyre explaining that there are singers and music that appears Christian but the folks are following false teaching or singing and believing heresy - which passes false teaching on to you and financially supports their continued heresy. We need to use discernment . Q: I was recently told that Christians are not supposed to listen to music because it is Satanic. And even Christian popular music is just as bad as secular music. Is this true? What should we as Christians consider when it comes to music? A: It is a good question to ask and to investigate about.  We have to remember Satan is the ruler of this fallen world, in so much as God allows it (uses him for ultimately a good ending result purpose). So every unsaved person is led by their sin (which is satanic in origin and expression through their lives). Scripture says they being trapped in their sin nature, are only always sinning. Christianity and Songs What's interesting is that Judeo-Christianity is the only [O N L Y] Religion that has songs. We are the only one. We sing to our Creator, God and Redeemer Jesus. We sing of and to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. At the core of the songs, is Worship. It's Spiritual.  It's a Singing Faith.  It's spiritual and connected to God. Theres literally an untold number, uncountable number,  of Judeo-Christian spiritual songs made from OT to NT eras and thru to today. Globally there's Christian music made (in foreign language) that's original music to that country and language, not just copies of English songs. A massive number of songs!   Even imagining people in various churches in all 195 countries singing the same song to God in multiple languages at the same time, or across 37 Different Local Times currently in use.
