Eternal Soul of Humans
Q: I go to church and know not everyone who reads the Bible will come to the same conclusions that you do. I can think of some verses that appear to point to annihilation. God doesn't need to kill those who reject Him, He doesn't need to torture them for eternity to prove how terrible sin is. A: Those led by God will find the truth because the Holy Spirit reveals eternal truths of God through Scripture. God was clear the wages of sin is death. We died spiritually the moment Adam sinned in Eden, and physical death sentence was also decreed. We are alive yet dead. So too in eternity it does not mean our eternal soul will die out of existence if we die in our sins. Also, God doesnt torture people in Hell, they are in tirment of themselves because they realized and gained knowledge of the truth and can never escape that eternal place of God's wrath being poured out in them.
