How can a spirit burn forever, & Where does the soul go after death?

Q: When people die doesnt our spirit go where it come from? Cuz how can a spirit "burn" for eternity. A: You're asking where a unsaved person goes after death. Someone not right with God, who died in their sins. This is a good question, one worth looking into. It is a key truth most people overlook: every person will one day be resurrected with an eternal body, either fit for glory or fit for judgment.  🔥 “ How Can a Spirit Burn Forever?” — A Biblical Explanation When people say, “How can a spirit burn for eternity?” they show they don’t understand what the Bible actually teaches about the resurrection, the nature of the soul, and the reality of God’s judgment. Hell isn’t a myth or a metaphor — it’s the eternal destiny of those who die in their sins, and Scripture is not silent about what that means. It has been very clear, and Jesus warned about it (speaking more about it than Heaven).  1️⃣ We are both body and soul — and both will be raised God made man as a union of ...

Damned by The Law

Jewish converts to Christ had come from Jerusalem and were incorrectly telling the converted Gentiles, “You’ve got to go back and do all those things that are in the Mosaic law.” They were basically saying “It is not enough for you that you have been saved by faith. In order to be truly saved, you must keep the law of Moses.” They were preaching a different gospel. Paul got really angry and wrote that was a horrendous distortion of the gospel!  In chapter 1:6, as you remember, he says, “I am amazed that you are so quickly deserting Him who called you by the grace of Christ, for a different gospel; which is really not another; only there are some who are disturbing you and want to distort the gospel of Christ. But even if we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you a gospel contrary to what we have preached to you, he is to be accursed, damned, anathematized!” Says it again, “As we said before, I say now again, if a...

An Appointment in Heaven

He wept with those who wept.  Edward D. Griffin resigned his pastorate at the Newark Presbyterian Church, one of the largest churches in the nation, to become professor of pulpit eloquence at the newly established Andover Theological Seminary in Massachusetts. When Griffin moved from New Jersey to Boston to assume his new position, he was accompanied by five students who would attend the new seminary.  One of them, Lewis LeCount Conger, soon fell seriously ill, and Griffin, who had grown to love the young man deeply, sought to inform and comfort the family of the ailing seminary student. Griffin’s poignant correspondence with those who loved Lewis Conger began:  January 2, 1810  My Dear Sir,  How often have you and your dear family said, “The Lord reigneth, let the earth rejoice.” What a blessing it is that He has the appointment of all our changes and trials. . . . You have given a son to Christ, and if He has work for him on the earth, He will preserve h...

Someone I know is dying

Just heard someone I know is dying A Christian's first concern is going to be...  Is that person saved?  If not I pray God opens his heart to salvation, that you can minister to him, share the gospel clearly and help him prepare to meet God.  You can play this short gospel presentation video too as it provides a clear gospel message.  Let him know the thief on the cross got saved just before he died and Jesus promised he would be with Him in paradise. God keeps his promises. If you need helps with stubborn objections or has something holding them back look here to answer them.  Here are some ways to reach the lost who are dying or are hospitalized and dying  Also I hope this helps you as you navigate the loss and in ministering to those who he knows, knows him, and loved ones.  The above link has a few books to consider,  that you can go through and see if they have any usage for him (the one dying), to help him and to try to reach him for C...

Just Before Dying?

Image
Heading off to Heaven Q: I have a question that's been on my mind since I lost a believing relative. Is it possible that  before someone souls leaves their body, that "God is there" and the person is aware of of Him before they go home to be with the Lord? A: God is always in the believer, and Scripture tells us absent from the body, present with the Lord.(1) At the moment of instant death we are in God's presence in eternity. It seems it will he like "in the twinkle of an eye" (like at the rapture event).  Once the dying do step through deaths door into eternity, Scripture tells us, once there the former things are gone, passed away(2) and he will dry every tear(3), we won't think about the former things from the life in this sin stained place.(4)  However prior to going to Heaven we see at the resurrection of Christ, the souls who were in the paradise side of sheol came up behind with Christ and were allowed to wander in town a short bit.(5) Highly ...

Titanic... interesting*

THE TITANIC WAS WARNED. The most captivating story I've ever read was the story of the Titanic, the supposedly unsinkable ship. On its maiden voyage, all the influential and affluent people of the time were on board, along with ordinary passengers from Southampton, England, to New York City on April 10, 1912 (111years ago). They had embarked on this journey across the ocean, eager to experience the grandeur of the Titanic. The Titanic was a marvel of engineering and luxury.  As they set off, the captain received a warning about floating icebergs obstructing their chosen ferry route. I've always believed that God never punishes without sending a warning, even though people often turn a deaf ear.  God is currently warning us today too. Their is an "iceberg" about to hit our world in a special sense.  The captain received the message, but he paid little attention to it. After all, this was an unsinkable ship. The passengers were engrossed in their festivities, relishing ...

Ocean Tragedy Truth

The world held their breath for 96 hours hoping and praying that the 5 souls onboard would be rescued. Most had no idea of what the problem was, if they had communications, and if there was a tour company back up plan for rescue if things went wrong. We thought they might be rescued in the nick of time, and worried they would die just before the rescue team arrived.  We came to later learn the sub imploded at the time communication was lost that first day. The truth of this disaster, is the designer and captain of both the titanic and titan sub blatantly rejected safety concerns and that took people to their death.  Stop Exploring? Many people commented that perhaps folks shouldnt be doing underwater exploration, but we have space exploration, we have military sub exploration, we have oceanographic exploration, we have deep divers, free divers, as well as ship explorers for thousands of years. We also have hige aquariums and restauraunts built underwater as well as tunnels for...

Why did the Baby die

Q: Why did God allow the baby to die A: Suffering, disease and death happen because Humans sinned and brought Sin into the world. This isnt God's fault. But, God brought the baby to Heaven. Same as my twins who died. Same as all young ones who die before age of accountability. God is gracious and loving. We each need to be right with Him thru Jesus so when we die we are Heavenbound too. See NeedGod.com Situation background: A woman was pregnant and happy. Later was told her baby had defects and wouldn't live. She wanted to abort it. The Law in her State has rules around medical necessity and values unborn life. The baby was born and lived 44 minutes. The mother has trauma over the child dying. Commenters said they had gone thru similar situation, some babies lived 6 months, another noted the doctors said the same thing to her, her child is 5 years old and healthy. Others noted when their child who passed after birth lived a while, they were so thankful to have a few days,...

Grieving the Loss of a Loved One

May this bless you and help you as you grieve or spend time with those who are. This page contains Bible verses, articles to help both the one dying and the ones left behind after a loss, answers, books, helps reaching the lost, and helps for the holidays after a loss. I hope it hekps you at this time.  I ask God to give me wisdom to see clearly and really understand who Christ is and all that He has done for me, that my heart will be flooded with light, so I can see something of the future He has called me to share, to understand how incredibly great His power is to help those who believe Him.  ---from Ephesians 1:17-19 But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, about those who are asleep, that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope.    For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep. For this we declare to you by a word from the Lord, that we who are a...

Why did Jesus die?

There are several questions people have about this Even children ask . (@ 35:07mark) Q: Why did God choose to sacrifice his Son for our sins, & Why cant God just wiped our slate clean just because. Sin is a crime against God. It requires justice and punishment. Just like a crime committed and you go to court. You wouldnt just let murderers and rapists run free right?  God told Adam that if he chose to disobey and eat of the fruit of 1 tree, he would die.  And he did eat. What happened: *He became aware of good and evil (as God is, aware) *He was cut off spiritually from God, spiritually died &  lost fellowship.  *He would now die a human death. ... but because Scripture explains: God is gracious, merciful and patient wanting all to be redeemed from the curse of sin that entered thru Adam, mafe a promise to mankind in Gen 3:5 to send the Savior to save us from our sins.  God made a promise. He will keep it.  Even though he was patient and mankinds si...

Whats going on

Suffering, trials & tribulations, or discipline? If you read the Bible you know that many people died for their faith. Evil unsaved men follow Satan and do evil things to others. It doesnt mean God directed it. God allows it for many reasons, both for the believer to trust and rely on God; whether they survive the trial or enter Heaven after being murder martyred.  Jesus died, Stephen died, many were persecuted and murdered ever since... by leaders in catholicism, and by islamics, hindus, and by regular unsaved people because they align with Satan and hate God and His people.   " Just have concern about properly fearing God, who can cast a person into Hell, so...do not fear man who can only kill you and do nothing else." (verse) God allows suffering, trials & tribulations to strengthen our faith, to be an example of a obedient servant who trusts God, and it encourages others faith by hearing about the person and situation they were in.  Gid always uses ...
