Q: Catholicism teaches confessing to a priest. What is wrong with confessing sins to a catholic priest? Chistian Reply: Not sure how many times you have read the Bible, or if you read it daily....but those who havent read it several times, are usually ignorant of what God has told us. And it causes people to easily believe false teachings, because they dont know Scripture. On this topic: 1. Scripture; God's Word, tells us that we are to go to speak to God the Father and in Jesus name for the Forgiveness of our sins when we pray.
