While Biblical Counseling is important for all believers, to apply Scripture to our own lives and to help others, this page is for youth and young adults so they can navigate life in the formative years. Thinking biblically about specific issues is important since we Christians get our worldview from biblical truth, & we can not make excuses, need to get correct help, to take action, and conquer sin, to live right and holy lives. While this information can help if you might be a Christian in a home with new believer parents, luke warm parents or ones who are false converts who attend church. Here are resources to help you through your teen, young adult and adult years regarding your parents. Scripture says "Obey your parents." As they are the ones put in governance over you who are responsible for you and God has given responsibility to, to raise you up in the Lord, in truth The home is a place of government, of leadership by your parents and a chuch where you learn truth, learn Scriptures, and worship and thank and praise God. Q: As a Christian, how would you handle to this? A: Actually, I would just use his name tag name. And pray for him when praying over the food. I would still ask if he have any prayer requests and if it is proper I would pray for that, but also for his salvation and be a new creation. But also, I would still leave a tract and a tip. They are a human, who is unsaved, and just living in a sin they desire most to wallow in. They know it is wrong but suppress it. Attending infant baptism Q: I'm considering changing churches and the only biblically sound one near me that I can find is a Presbyterian church. So my biggest concern is that I'm not 100% convinced on infant baptism. What would be your arguments for or against infant baptism? A: Infant baptism isnt biblical and stems out of false teachings of the catholic religion. If you have checked the belief statement of the churches around (and it is the only one in 50 miles) and you have no other choice, you can go... it is a secondary issue so you should be ok. What Hills should you die on?  Besides the Essentials there are areas of secondary matters. These are ones diff churches disagree on and it is due to either 1. Lack of biblical knowledge; they haven't matured yet in understanding Scripture, or 2. The straight up reality that person doing it & the ones embracing it are "not saved". And if it isnt #1 then theyre actually outside of Christianity and theyre excluded from what's being said on essential/secondary issues because that so called "church" is a false church with false teachers and false converts following false beliefs. Words matter, our thoughts controling how we think and what we say matter.  They matter because it reveals whether we are actually a transformed person in Christ or not, but even if a weak believer who never grasped this yet need to realize our words are to build up, encourage, exhort and be used to share the Gospel.  But if we are not wise in how we talk and not showing love, how could we think the unsaved people in the world would be drawn to Christ if they see you behaving like the world. The question came up in a euthanasia discussion about what we can do to minister to others when a believer is hospitalized. From the view of a believing family member or church representative. I would say this idea is valid not only at end of life care, but other hospitalized or home care situations; if you are in a horrible accident or major surgery and are inpatient or long term hospital care, or recovering, or a believer is recovering from cancer surgery etc... even if it is ICU and you are not able to have visitors just invite folk & have nurses redirect the visitor to a certian room or area or chapel where you/your representative gathers for prayer, writing well wishes down, etc. minister to their heart, and you can hand out a tract for them to take.  Here are some tracts you can use at the hospital or care giving place to actively and passively share the Gospel with those around you and those you and the patient know. Q: Thoughts on elective euthanasia for the terminally ill? I have a dear friend who’s father is has end stage MS. He just had his leg amputated last night because he twitches so severely from MS that he rubs his feet raw against the bed sheets. He chokes on his food, is completely incoherent and has no idea who anyone is or what’s going on, and my friend is burdened with the cost of care and provides direct care overnight. His father is almost brain dead. We know there is a God and we know it’s the God of the Bible. Atheists know this too. Scripture says they suppress the truth in unrighteousness because they live darkness; they love their wicked sins. And it says they hate him and are angry with God without cause. They spent their entire life trapped by and chained enslaved to the sin nature and know nothing of freedom nor righteousness. Yet that Holy desire can never be pure in that we will aways have the still present sinful fleshly desire that war against the spiritual desire while in this temporary body. A "cross" is symbolic of "sacrifice" which means that when we sow to the spirit and follow the desires of God it will "cost us something of ourselves". Why are "Christians" online in conversations or in quoting Scripture writing God with lower case? And how can a Christian admonish such a person rightly? A: Well the person 1. Might not actually be a Christian and so they do not respect nor value God's name.  2. It is also possible they didnt use a Bible app or search and copy a verse online, and instead typed it out but their phone didnt auto correct.  3. There are some believers who type fast and do typos and  4. Others who are new or weak in the faith (or in a sect that is religious but not born again) who do not revere God enough to always capitalize His name or Title as the Creator and Ruler of all creation.  5.
