Q: I'm an young professing atheist. I didn't grow up in a religious family and didnt attend church regularly. Recently, a family member gave me some money, and I decided to buy a Bible. I thought it would be a good starting point. I got a small, cute Bible that fits in my pocket, making it easy to carry around. My sister, (who isn't very religious either), gave me her old Bible (having got a new one). Most of my family is also atheist. I’m not trying to push religion on anyone; I’ve had negative experiences with religious friends who judged me for my beliefs, which is part of why I identify as an atheist. My mom and I are currently staying with family having hit hard times, & she is struggling with depression over it. I try to encourage her, (who is also an atheist). Q: Why are Church signs like this?? A: Christian:  Pretty much shows theres many false churches and teaching in the world. All the Evidence points there too. Christianity's evidence is not just the personal miracle that happens at conversion. It is literally History recorded as it was lived out. Archeology affirms it. Q: Has the Bible been mistranslated and rewritten?  A: no. not possible. Theres millions of eyes looking at the og language, who are Hebrew and Greek, and know the Bible languages and English. And thats been a fact since the 1st translation until today. Q: I am a skeptic, so which version? A: A reliable one. Claiming various versions voids the Bible is a ridiculous assertion, because it is not true.  The Bible has been translated into most languages today. And faithfully represent accurate translation.  Those were always true and reliable. Any with a solid translation team, & those have been deemed accurate. About the science of Textual Criticism and a few related notes... There are three major competing Greek sources to use for translating the New Testament: the Critical Text, the Majority Text, and the Textus Receptus.  There are also Texts for the Hebrew Old Testament. The science of assembling these manuscripts is called “Textual Criticism”. Among them we had all that was available of ancient manuscripts of the Bible when Early translations incl Geneva & KJV were written. Q: Skeptic asks:  My problem is how "man" constantly needs to interpret what the Bible says. Why didn't God just plainly tell us?  A:  There's a few things to point out.  1.
