Did Catholicism create the Bible - or - How did we get the Bible ?
Atheist asks: Did Catholic religion create the Bible?
No.
The Bible/Scripture was written from 1400 BC, (about 3,400 years ago), to completion in AD 90. It was not written by the catholic religion. Idk where you heard that, but no.
Even The manuscripts dated by archeologists refute such a nonsense idea. Catholicism started in 5th century 570-600 and were moving far away from Biblical orthodoxy. It was an apostate religion by 606 AD(*).
The Reformation brought back Biblical Christianity, known today as Protestantism or Evangelicalism.
But Catholicism did add books to the Scriptures... why? To match their false teachings. 👇
The Reformers exposed the heresy of RCC,
The Reformers printed and got Bibles in peoples hands they clearly could see "what RCC taught wasnt biblical truth", [and so believers can know God's Word and follow it].
.... and so RCC had to find a way to hold onto people in the religion (or they would lose personal power, staus and peoples money) so they conviened council of trent and in1545 RCC added the apocrypha. *RCC spent 20 years trying to salvage and keep a grip on their apostate religion and the people in it, after the Reformers exposed them as a fraud false religion with a false gospel, false god and false jesus.
