Struggling with God & Faith questions

Q: I thought I had become a Christian recently and I was obsessed with learning reading as much as possible.  I was going to church, bible study, listening to Christian radio and listening to sermons. I became unwell for a few weeks and had no energy for it all.  Once I was well enough I didn’t pick up my readings and learnings again. I felt my Christianity slipping away.  Why do I only “feel it” when absolutely absorbed in it? Why has it been fleeting, why is my logic kicking back in? I feel like there is something of a concept of God/creator but I can’t belive the Bible.  In my few months of learning I realized each religion refuses to read/learn about other religion and their Bibles.  Each have their own additions, omissions and each has been done by MAN. I don’t trust it.  How do I find my way ? A: You should start at your local Bible ficused church. Why havent you called the church and asked the Pastor to meet to discuss these questions? or gone to Sun...

There's a Void in my life and am examining Christianity

Q: I’m trying to become more religious and think that God is the answer for the void in my life… but my problem is I keep trying to convince myself about God and even heaven and hell. What do I do? I’ve only been listening to sermons online so far and have been researching Christianity. I just feel empty inside. A: When we understand our purpose, value and identity, and also grasp what's wrong with the world, why it's like that and then see why we need Jesus... everything makes sense.  Here's helps.. 1. 4 Ways God reveals Himself  2. What went wrong  3. What's mankind's purpose 4. The Gospel , which God calls us to obey.   5. This world will always be full of suffering, pain, Illnesses and death, but believers have more troubles but also also blessings. Both the latter (and firmer even) have good purposes. However God is always with the believer to help him grow closer to God, trust and rely on Him more, and seek comfort in Him. He is sovereign and works all th...

faq: Sharing Sins

Q: Catholicism teaches confessing to a priest. What is wrong with confessing sins to a catholic priest?  Chistian Reply: Not sure how many times you have read the Bible, or if you read it daily....but those who havent read it several times, are usually ignorant of what God has told us. And it causes people to easily believe false teachings, because they dont know Scripture.  On this topic: 1.   Scripture; God's Word, tells us that we are to go to speak to God the Father and in Jesus name for the Forgiveness of our sins when we pray. Jesus is our Mediator as our Savior and High Priest in Heaven. We pray directed to God. 👉Not thru a priest in a position in a religion created by people.  1 John 2:1-2  1 Tim 2:5  2.  Scripture says confess to "one another"... as in the believers you are close with, the brethren , this is not about someone in a position of authority or prayer leader or someone in leadership.  In fact in following biblical discipl...

Investigating Christianity

People of course have difficulties in understanding what Scripture says and doubts where they have difficulties understanding the lack of knowledge they have about the Bible and history, but that is where investigation and research come in.  Sure you can simply believe God by faith, but it is unreasonable to have blind faith without evidence. Scripture (66) has more than enough evidence to prove itself as The Word of God, but without studying it you wont see that. So Christians help guide you using reason, logic, intellect and lead you to the reasonableness of the truth it contains, so you can trust and believe. God will open your heart and give you eyes to see and spiritual understanding if you are genuine in wanting to know the truth.  If not, you will make all kinds of excuses. Fortunately today is the era of "educate yourself" and getting educated on a matter brings answers to thing that were unclear before, and which you didnt have knowledge about.  Once you find out...
