Thinking biblically about what the world calls mental illness is important since we Christians get our worldview from biblical truth; so we can not make excuses, & must take action as we get correct help to conquer areas of weakness or sin, to live right and holy lives. The world diagnoses/calls this as a disease and disorder: Attention Deficit Disorder aka Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, or neural development disorder of childhood. It is not a mental illness. If you examine it you will find it is a self control and focus issue, not a medical issue. There are pockets of skills needed to grow in and areas of maturity growth like in self control that's needed. They are living in sinful selfish desires and not doing the hard things to become a well rounded person.  So, if we're talking about young kids this sounds like a lack of proper parenting issue, right? To be training and guiding the child so they can grow up rightly. From 5th to 8th grade parents (esp of boys)...
