Q: Does the Constitution keep religion away?  A: Christians did not need to specifically say those words, but everything in the Constitution is based on the faith Christianity, and our laws. America's Foundation is on Christianity   Many today are not educated  on our country's foundation, and have not done proper unbiased research... The USA was founded on and created on a full on culture and society of &  around Christianity, and the Bible. Everyone in the West was under Christiandom.  Christianity in America starting with the Protestant Pilgrims in 1620, and continued through the Founders era (and our Independence) when America was formed.  Christianity was the only faith in the West. It was that way through 1950s. Separation of Church & State?  Almost everyone has heard of the doctrine of the "separation of church and state." Most Americans believe that it's in the United States Constitution.   But there is no such phrase in the Constitution. And there never was —for a simple reason: The Founding Fathers never intended for church and state to be completely separate.
