Just heard someone I know is dying A Christian's first concern is going to be...  Is that person saved?  If not I pray God opens his heart to salvation, that you can minister to him, share the gospel clearly and help him prepare to meet God.  You can play this short gospel presentation video too as it provides a clear gospel message.  Let him know the thief on the cross got saved just before he died and Jesus promised he would be with Him in paradise. God keeps his promises. If you are looking at a church, are already in one, be sure to examine it so you can find a right church. Do not be bamboozled just because they post the essential core beliefs. You cannot just attend any church but must pick one that stands on Scripture as a whole, and clearly tells you the secondary beliefs they hold to. If they don't tell it - theyre hiding something. They are being deceptive. And that is a red flag. I guarantee they hold to and preach on secondary and tertiary views. They cannot avoid it. Those not clearly stating what they teach are trying to pull a fast one on you hoping that if you get connected into their community that you wont leave. But if you are looking for a church you need to find one thst holds to your views. How can you know if you agree on and can align with that church if they are not honest and refuse to take a stand in writing in their faith statement? There are many churches today popping up who have a solid faith statement but are choosing to be wishy washy and not take a stand on important secondary matters. By doing this they are failing as Shepherds to teach Scripture and on godly living; bith are essential to the role of the spiritual shepherd in their life.  The church has to teach on these matters, and ones not addressing it in their statement are likely going to spring on you at some point that theyve embraced the worlds views. Thst is a deceptive tactic that Christians should never do but Satan always does.  And they cannot avoid teaching Scripture in areas of Baptism, End Times, Sexual Sins, Following Christ not culture, unity in Christ vs racism, and other matters that affect a believers daily life as well as growth and maturity in the faith. Expressive individualism isnt new. In the 70s and 80s even looking at students at School... the emo kids and the smokers, loners, losers, popular, etc were all dressing outside the norm in a rebellious way against the norm claiming they wanted to be unique. But they were just the same as everyone else in their clique. 😂 That hasnt changed today. Those are still the same groups from back then that there is today. They just added lgbt (and govt legitimized it instead of illegalized it) because sexual perversion has become the latest fad. And the reason it has come this far is because in 2000s legislation changed the nations morals, values and character in schools where teens were allowed to look at porn on computers and parents and older brothers let their siblings play racy video games with hidden sex stuff.
