This article follows a prev discussion on decinstructionism movement.  I been saying these things to folk for years, even online. Addressing again as Wess Huff spoke recently about it.  Theres two main problems happening: seeker sensitive movement birthed  deconstructionism.   Those who profess Christ are either in a false church, thus they hear nothing true, or they dont go to church [plugging in actively in the community. Esp discipleship classes, new believers classes, and Sunday school]. Thus they dont read nor know the Bible, and dont grow into the knowledge needed to grasp reality of life on earth. They lean on their own understanding and their heart desires them. Solo Christianity mentality always fails and always leads to idolatry.  Many [True] churches that embraced seeker sensitive model... fail to teach these truths, esp to youth cuz all they do is pacify w "fun" stuff in "youth group" activities and hyped concert "worship" for youth [separatin...

Thinking biblically about what the world calls mental illness is important since we Christians get our worldview from biblical truth; so we can not make excuses, & must take action as we get correct help to conquer areas of weakness or sin, to live right and holy lives. The world diagnoses/calls this as a disease and disorder: Attention Deficit Disorder aka Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, or neural development disorder of childhood. It is not a mental illness. If you examine it you will find it is a self control and focus issue, not a medical issue. There are pockets of skills needed to grow in and areas of maturity growth like in self control that's needed. They are living in sinful selfish desires and not doing the hard things to become a well rounded person.  So, if we're talking about young kids this sounds like a lack of proper parenting issue, right? Q: We are homeschoolers. As a mom I’m really struggling right now. I found explicit photos on my son’s phone. When I confronted him, he immediately blamed his public school friend, saying that friend installed the images without him knowing . I’m not sure if I should believe him or if he’s just using this friend as an excuse. My son is a descent kid and It’s starting to feel like this public school friend is a bad influence on him. I’m wondering if I should cut off their contact altogether. Advice? A: It is likely he is lying and needs either to not have a phone, only a basic flip phone, and have controls in place on the computer/ any media content to limit his venturing further. You could have a police come over [with advanced discussion on what to say and things not to say (things that dont fit a moral worldview), to educate and scare him about porn and jail.
