Salvation is by Faith alone.  Scripture is clear.  There are many groups who have not studied Scripture well and are unable to see this. Similarly like the top Jewish religious leaders in Jesus day didnt comprehend "no marriage nor gender in Heaven".  People grow in the knowledge (vs), and we are not instantly given full knowledge at salvation. They are not related to salvation, but to the fruit shown after salvation. If we recieved full knowledge at salvation, there would be no need for the Bible, nor denomonations.  Growth is part of proof that you are "growing up" in the faith, and it is evident by the fruit your life produces.  Salvation is a gift from God it is not a work   Works comes after salvation. Come to Jesus  While the Gospel requires obedience, it is easy to happily be obedient, because we see the reason for it. And unlike religious ritualistic works based legalists, salvation is free. We can easily live obedient lives after salvation out of gratitude and love, because at salvation, God gives us a new nature the moment He causes us to be born again . This radically changes us, and enables us to live rightly. By what God says is right, by the Bible.  Here is an important point to understand Sin is violating perfection. Humans have the sin nature due to the Fall. Sin is transgression. Lawlessness, wickedness, evil. Every human is a wicked evil sinner. A criminal in God's eyes. And the wages of sin, is death. Things muslims miss, or dont realize, or suppress 1. Koran was written 600 years after God had given His Revelation (the completed Word of God;the Bible) to humans. No one would believe something "new", after God already completed the Bible. And he did so thru His nation Israel.  2.  Koran says you are to believe the Old and New Testament; the Scriptures.  So why arent you studying and reading it, (?)  Thoughts on random things about Eternity where the Redeemed are Will we eat food? We will have shed this fleshly human body and receive a different kind of body that is fit for Eternity.  Our bodies will be different in eternity, a lot will be different, but better. Not even sure we will need or eat food in eternity. That is for temporal flesh and blood sustenance for energy and for the human living machine body to function. Thinking about well will we not need food, but will we be able to eat it? I would think if everything is perfect, and we dont need it, we wont have lusts after food. But I don't know. Q: I heard a preacher recently say a bunch of things that attract me. I like the stuff he said about love, no judgment, the belief in no Hell. I dont like the Christian message to be God fearing and to obey the Bible. It feels like the latter puts people off going to church. God's Soverenty & Mans Free Will  Discussing Unbelief.  God saves, but those who reject Jesus, all responsibility for the sinners unbelief falls on the sinner. Q: Seeking clarity.    A young man was previously presented the “reformed” gospel at an early age. He then observed his own family and concluded there was nothing godly in him nor his family.
