Want lies or truth

Q: I heard a preacher recently say a bunch of things that attract me. I like the stuff he said about love, no judgment, the belief in no Hell. I dont like the Christian message to be God fearing and to obey the Bible. It feels like the latter puts people off going to church. I think i would go to a church like the one formerly mentioned.

A:
Church is for believers. Church literally means "the separated ones to God". It is the Bride of Christ.

No unredeemed person would be interested in going there. Thats why false churches and false preachers use gimmicks and lies to draw people in.

"For the time is coming [already here] when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions" 2 Timothy 4:4

The latter of what you said, "God fearing and obeying the Bible" is what Christians gladly do because their new nature (in Christ). It is God's love letter to believers. It is a light and guide for us in how to live in the world, and it tells us about God and Jesus; whom we love and worship with a grateful heart.

It is impossible for the non converted (by God) to be interested in those things. They have no interest in the real Jesus or God, the one in the Bible.

If you never clearly understood the Gospel and your need for Jesus, this will help.
