Q: The teachings of the Bible... Does it really matter? It seems even most religious people don't follow them. Re: topic on the Lord's Prayer and generally about prayer, and what appears to be hypocritical lives of Christians. A: The prayer isn't for religious people tho. It is only those born again . Prayer is communicating with God and aligning to His will. The Lord's Prayer is an example of how to pray to the Father [God]. God only hears the prayers of the redeemed. The prayer is likely known by 85% of the country due to vbs (Vacation Bible School) and a large majority went/going to church w grandparents and parents. So it is also similar to the 10 Commandments.
