Q: When discussing or looking at diff galaxies. How do we Christians biblically realistically look at the light coming from distant galaxies, and explain or discuss it, in truth. A: The claim that light from distant galaxies proves the universe as millions or billions of years old is based on secular assumptions, not biblical truth. The Bible clearly teaches that God created the universe about 6,000 years ago (Genesis 1) [1]. The “distant starlight problem” is only a problem if we assume naturalistic processes have always operated the same way and that God could not act supernaturally. God created the stars on Day 4 of Creation Week, and He made them to be seen for signs and seasons (Genesis 1:14–19). God is all-powerful and not limited by the natural laws He created.
