Wife turning to Christianity and RC husband trying to prevent it
Q: I have recently been getting closer to God now as an adult woman 33 years old. I have always known about God I was raised catholic. However now as an adult, I am choosing to give my life to him, and eventually I would like to be baptized into the Christian faith. My husband is Catholic as well, and when I talk to him about my future plans to be baptized he tells me that I can’t do that because we can’t be married as will be from "two different religions", saying thats a sin and he is not willing to change. He is also upset me that I’m changing and "becoming a different person". I love my husband deeply. He is a great husband. I’m just not sure why he’s so offput by me being closer to God.
