Should we fear God when we are told he loves us?

Q: Should we fear God when we are told he loves us?  A: First, we need to define God's love. Then, explain more about fear: Theres 2 main fear ; fear thats your friend & fear thats your enemy. The final fear is a revenant fear   towards God, (whom a believer loves).  One point folk misunderstand is, the non born again [converted by God] think theyre good, so if they do wrong they fear theyll be punished. But God revealed were all sinners by nature, as children of Adam - born in sin. From our mothers womb (from conception) we are enemies of God and that means....all are already hellbound. Its by God's Grace thru Christ that salvation is even available, to escape it. Be restored to God, adopted by God, saved, forgiven, blessed, eternity bound etc. This is a key thing folk miss. If they understood it rightly theyde see theyre a vile wicked evil wretched sinner deserving of death and damnation. Thus Christ and His redemption offer make real sense. Some also say Peopl...

God loves everyone?

NO,  we are not all God's children. That's a false belief of many in modern times, and shows they dont understand who we are nor who God is.  To explain.... Humanity fits in only two categories: 1. By nature (before salvation): ● Because of the Fall, all humans are “dead in trespasses and sins” (Eph. 2:1). ● Paul says unbelievers are “children of wrath” (Eph. 2:3) and that they follow “the prince of the power of the air” (Eph. 2:2), which is Satan. ● Jesus Himself told some of the Pharisees, “You are of your father the devil” (John 8:44). → So in that sense, Christianity teaches that outside of Christ, people are in bondage to sin, under Satan’s dominion, and can rightly be described as his children. 2. By grace (after salvation): ● When God saves someone, they are adopted into His family (Rom. 8:15–17, Gal. 4:4–7). ● Only in Christ do we truly become children of God (John 1:12). This is why adoption is a central theme in Christian soteriology: we’re transferred from the fam...

Contradictions, doubts, & needing to understand who God actually is.

Q: Why do Christians read the Bible because there are infinite contradictions. My doubts in Jesus and God came with deeper studying of the Bible.  I sought God literally with all my heart mind body and soul- every fiber of my being- and yet I got doubts and severe traumas instead. 13 “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” Apparently not I!!!! I have the purest most loving sinless heart of everyone ive Ever known and much more devoted to Jesus/God than anyone so this has 100% nothing to do with sin or state of my heart etc.   I’m more desperate than anyone ever could be to find TRUTH and for someone anyone to explain all these hundreds if not thousands of contradictions in the Bible. God seems like a tyrantical sadistic monster in the Bible and I truly don’t want to think that. I don’t want to lose faith and hate God but I’m already on that road. Someone explain all these contradictions and sadistic crazy scriptures about a God that seems lik...

But Deborah

But Deborah ...... What does Scripture say?  Judges 4:9 “Certainly I will go with you, But because of the course you are taking, the honor will not be yours, for the Lord will deliver Sisera into the hands of a woman" said Deborah To their shame a woman was used instead of men.  Deborah believed that God had given the children of Israel a victory. And so, Deborah encouraged the army, said, “Look, the victory’s ours; let’s just go take it.” And she led them out, and they did. However, even though her doing this was a shame towards men, she was an encourager.  Look into the topics of Deborah more here  & at gty.org under the search feature. <<<< prev page Related On Women's Roles Biblical Answers about Women  What is the Gospel Believers Resources

Women Preachers

Women preachers? Progressives say women can be pastors, but God has said otherwise. It is usually because of lack of biblical knowledge, or flat out downright rebellion against God that a woman will desire or claim women can be pastors (and might even try to be one). Nowhere the Bible tells of a woman leading the men in the church homes in the NT.  I'm not talking about using a woman's home, nor a woman hosting people and feeding them or serving in some manner. You cannot find a reference nor a teaching for such claim because there is none . Of course God used women and still does. But context and history are only part of God's Word. The Scripture is very explicit in explaining who does the actual leading in terms of pastoring, and the other positions of authority, and WHY.  The problem with churches allowing women to take roles God has only given to men, it is 1. Rebellion against God and 2. historically started (in the 20th century) because of that particular church beg...

God, lgbt+ & transgenderism

Q: I have gender dysphoria and it is distressing.  Does God hate those who are being themself, and if so how does that make Him any different from humans.  A: Let me answer the latter first. 1. God understands people are trapped in the sin nature. They choose a myriad of sins to gravitate to and some have a greater control on their lives as they choose that particular sin. In this case it is sexual sin. God hates all sin regardless of what kind it is, as it violates Perfection and Holiness, of which He is. When man fell in Eden at "the Fall" due to sin, sin entered the world and humans all have that sin nature, being born from sinful men, due to Adam. God must punish sin no matter where it is found, because it violates His nature and essense. Sin cannot be in His presence, and when we step thru the doorway of death into eternity, God is there. There is no other place someone can be other than the place God made for Satan and the rebellious fallen angels which is Hell. Hell is...
