The Problem with Taqiyya

The teaching in islam of Taqiyya goes against the truth. The below will explain why. 

In the book of Islam, the Koran, muslims are told they are to believe the Bible [which includes the Gospel]. It is the Word of God. If muslims are to do that [and they are] then they need to know the Bible. Not superficially but in depth. 

Look at what God has said and revealed to mankind in the Holy Bible:

Ten Commandments, found in the Bible, both in Exodus 20:2-17 and Deuteronomy 5:6-21 reflect the perfect nature of God. He is morally perfect, righteous and holy. 

Humans are made in the image of God. Our image [which was to reflect the perfect moral nature of God] was marred at the Fall in Eden when Adam sinned against God. 

Looking at the 10 Commandments, we clearly see # 9 states we are not to lie. Lying is not allowed. God has been very clear on this. We are not to lie for any reason. He goes on in Scripture to reveal that lying is wicked and it damns to eternal Hell. 

Also we are not to violate the 1st to 3rd commandment either which basically means we are not to make or follow an Idol. *That includes creating a false god we prefer over the true God, or a religion that follows a false god, or worshipping statures or animals or creation in any way. For this discussion we are looking at the first two. 

Furthermore, God tells us in James that we are all in much more serious trouble than we think because besides lying any sin committed (ever) in thought, word or deed, just 1 single sin in our entire life - damns us to eternal Hell and eternal wrath of God will forever be poured out on those who are sentenced there; guilty criminals who are receiving an eternal sentence. 

James 2:10

For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles in one point, he has become guilty of all

So looking at the topic of Lying,

God has been clear. 

Isaiah 44:20

a deceived heart has turned him aside. And he cannot deliver himself

From God's 10 Commandments:

Exodus 20:16

Thou shalt not Lie. 

Leviticus 19:11 reiterates the above:

“ ‘Do not lie."

“ ‘Do not deceive people."

Proverbs 6:16-19

"There are 7 things which the Lord hates, they are an abomination to Him. Haughty eyes, a lying tongue, And hands that shed innocent blood, A heart that devises wicked plans,

Feet that run rapidly to evil, A false witness who utters lies And one who spreads strife"

Proverbs 19:5

"A false witness will not go unpunished, And he who tells lies will not escape"

Proverbs 12:22

Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord, but those who deal faithfully are His delight

Proverbs 12:23

The LORD detests lying lips, but he delights in people who are trustworthy

Proverbs 14:5

An honest witness does not deceive, but a false witness pours out lies

Proverbs 13:5

The righteous hate what is false, but the wicked make themselves a stench and bring shame on themselves

Proverbs 14:25

A truthful witness saves lives,

But he who utters lies is treacherous

Isaiah 59:2-3

But your iniquities have made a separation between you and God, and your sins have hidden His face from you so that He does not hear. For your hands are defiled with blood

And your fingers with iniquity;

Your lips have spoken falsehood,

Your tongue mutters wickedness

James 3:14

But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart - do not be arrogant and so lie against the truth

John 8:44

Jesus said, "You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies."

You cannot claim to follow truth if you embrace lies of any kind. 

1 Timothy 4:2

Such teachings come through hypocritical liars

Proverbs 19:9

A false witness will not go unpunished, And he who tells lies will perish. 

So we clearly see from God's Word that

God is not a deciever, and we are not to be decievers. We are to tell the truth, proclaim the truth, and walk in truth if we follow God. 

If the Koran says the Bible is to be believed then the reality is the Koran has clearly told you the god revealed in it is not the god of Islam. It has clearly told you Allah is a counterfeit god, but you havent actually "looked" to realize that until today. 

The above reveals the God of Islam is not the true God, the God of the Bible is revealed as YHWH. He is totally different from what you had been told. This reveals Allah is an idol and you are actually committing Shirk by being a muslim. Islam deceived you - but today you can flee from it, and turn to the true and living God, through Jesus Christ the Savior.

Cry out to God, the true and living God, whom you learned about today and He will save you. 

Psalm 120:2

Deliver my soul, O Lord, from lying lips, From a deceitful tongue

Turn to Jesus as your Savior. 

1 John 4:14 

And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world.

1 Corinthians 15:3-4 

For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures

Acts 4:12 

And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” only Jesus. 

1 Timothy 2:5 

For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God [the Father] and men: Christ Jesus

John 3:16 

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

John 14:6 

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

Romans 3:23 

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God

Rom. 3: 24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus

Romans 6:23 

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord

Jesus said, Repent and believe the Gospel". Mark 1:15

What is the Gospel? 

You can know and experience the Grace of God today. 

James 1:18 

God decided to give us life through the word of truth 

Romans 5:8 

God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us

Ephesians 2:8-9 

For by GRACE you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.

Titus 3:5

He saved us, not by works which we did in righteousness [which Isaiah says are all worthless], but according to His mercy, through the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit. 

>God did it all. Jesus paid the debt in full. 

"The wages of sin is death but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus". Rom 6:23 

Jesus has paid (for all believers) what is owed [because of our sin crimes] and took care of what is necessary to "free us from" the power of the law of sin and death (the power death over a person, and the judgment, and eternal damnation). 

1 John 1:9 

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness

Romans 10:9 

Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

Romans 8:1 

There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

John 4:42 

They said to the woman, “It is no longer because of what you said that we believe, for we have heard for ourselves, and we know that this is indeed the Savior of the world.”

If you get saved today, which comes by obeying the Gospel...

James 1: 20-25 says

Therefore, laying aside all filthiness and all that remains of wickedness, in gentleness receive the implanted word, which is able to save your souls. But become DOERS of the word, and not merely hearers who delude themselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks at his natural face in a mirror; for once he looked at himself and has gone away, he immediately forgot what kind of person he was. But one who looks intently at the perfect law, the law of freedom, and abides by it, not having become a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this man will be blessed in what he does. 

When you turn to Christ as Savior in obeying the Gospel, you are born again by God. Radically transformed. You recieve the righteous nature of Christ and... go from a lover of sin to a lover of righteousness. You naturally become more holy [sanctification] to "be Holy as I am Holy" God said, and that also means we become more Christlike. He who is the God-man is our example, as are the Scriptures for holy living. 

Psalm 119:29

Remove the false way from me

Zephaniah 3:13

They will do no wrong; they will tell no lies. A deceitful tongue will not be found in their mouths

If you turned to Christ today, this will be a big help to you as you begin your new life as a redeemed on and a child of God. 

If you reject it, Scripture is clear...

There is no other way to be saved but through the true historical Jesus Christ who was revealed and recorded in Scripture. 

John 3:16-19

 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil.

John 16:8-11

Now, the Holy Spirit will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment; concerning sin, because they [rejectors] do not believe in Me; and concerning righteousness, because I go to the Father and you no longer see Me; and concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world [Satan] has been judged.

Judgment Day is near...

Satan will be cast into that hell, that eternal lake of fire, and all who die in their sins among mankind will be sent there too. 

Romans 2:16 

On that day God will judge the secrets of men by Christ Jesus

Matthew 25:31-46 tells us 

When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit on his glorious throne. Before him will be gathered all the nations, and he will separate the people. And he will place the redeemed on his right, but the unredeemed on the left. 

Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.

Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels'. And these will go away into eternal punishment, 

but the righteous will enter into eternal life.

One final plea...

Do not be condemned with the unrepentant and self righteous ones who die in their sin, when God's offer can save you today. 

Flee to Jesus Christ, while God is still graciously giving you breath. 

Flee to Him, the One who loves those who come to Him... and love him and be loved by him forevermore. This very secod, run to Jesus (with all your heart) to be made right with God, and begin your eternal relationship with Him today.
