Animals in Heaven?
Will there be animals in Heaven like there are on Earth today?

Answer 2 π π¬
Animals are temporary for Earthly purposes.
On earth here they are for specific temporal reasons (agriculture farming, sacrifices, meat for food, pets, gurard animals, service animals for disabled, transportation, birds relaying messages, hunting, clothing, accessories; purses, bags, shoes, wine skins, parchment/books, covers, and for the ecosystem of the planet - to name a few).
Creatures mentioned in Revelation
Many things we see in Scripture talk of God and his eternal nature; always existed. Humans and angels were created and will exist forever, and animals are a temporary existence - so not forever, but for the purposes of this Earth. We see worship at the time of Revelation & Tribulation with the Church shown in Heaven, but never are animals shown there.
There are angels who are discussed symbolically [seem like animals or creatures] connected to Israel and explained by what the Jews clearly understood [but this needs explaining to gentiles (see Worship series).]
Nor does Scripture speak of them when it speaks on the coming future "New Earth".
See @31:32-39:07
Looking at Scripture we see what is revealed and principles you can see from overall understandings what it is saying. There are areas that appear to be silent but in fact are there.
We have to remember God made us for eternal fellowship with Himself and the Bible was given to us to understand God and follow Him. That man was put in charge of this temporary Earth, (which God filled with things for usage here), and it will be destroyed and all the former things will be gone with it; the temporary, sin, the fallen Earth corrupted by sin, animal sacrifice, animals etc. Animals were needed to help maintain the earth, eat the grass and help with population control of all the animals. God created them for his pleasure, and many were helpful to us; donkeys and horses and dogs and birds, etc. The rest were for varied purposes such as clothing and food and animal sacrifices (as noted earlier) and even their hair is useful to us (violin bows, paintbrushes for artist, feathers as ink quills, etc).
I do not see a seperation of all animals created vs pets. Some just became pets, after domestication as working animals. They lived closely with people, and in Israel times they lived in their homes to keep them safe. Most all, if not all, were for clothing, food, as work animals for plowing fields, chasing away predatorial animals, pulling sleds, herding, hunting, etc. To make a living and survive God gave animals to us as helpers.
Nor can I see millions of animals sacrificed or animals we ate here for food, (given to us by God for these purposes), as "coming back". They werent created in God's image as humans were. God created us to fellowship with Him (personal relationship) in an eternal way. Animals were not made in His image. We were also set over all things on earth to have dominion over them. We are created in a much higher order. Not like the animal hierarchy of predators, but to rein over all things here. These are not redeemed or restored, but were sadly part of the fallen world, and scared from it. They with this world will fade away. They won't go into the new creation of the new earth, also even now do not live in perfection, and suffered from the fall [had diseases, attacked humans, attacked & ate each other, etc]. They who haven't sinned, died, and will die at the end. Death came to all creatures on earth because of the Fall. But they weren't created like man who sinned. They just got caught up in all the corruption of creation & suffered. Their existence will end.
Our existence is not tied to temporary things, and we are to be looking forward to the future eternal glory that awaits the redeemed, where we will be with Jesus and our focus will be on Him. Once in eternity, all these sinful selfish things we think about [wishing for our pets, wanting specific comforts or foods] will be eliminated from our thoughts, and we will live perfectly, perfect minded as well, and perfectly grateful for what God provides fir us and our needs. Our focus in eternity will be on loving and serving Jesus/God in a perfect way, and to enjoy our relationship with Him and the brethren forever.

Note: The Throne is all of Heaven. Not an actual Throne like humans think of an earthly throne in a throne room. Heaven is where God rules from.
Jesus Topics
Looking at the 4 Heavenly Creatures in front of God's Holy Throne.
On Jesus deity we also see from Heaven that He is on the Throne of God and He is worshipped. Not just by the angels and by the redeemed humans, but also by the holy creatures closest to God's Holy Throne.
The four living creatures discussed in Revelation 4-5 reveal...
The purpose of the four living creatures also has to do with declaring the holiness of God and leading in worship and adoration of God, (and they are involved in some way with God’s justice).
Revelation goes on to describes the duties or purposes of the four living creatures. They fall down and worship the Lamb, Jesus Christ, offering the same reverence to Him that they do to the Father, further proof positive of the deity of Jesus Christ.
Understanding some things from Scripture is important and helpful.
So it is good to understand the significance of what is said, understand what it reveals, and if Scripture is silent on a matter. We can look at basics of Scripture and conclude no, or maybe. But we can't make a theology out of something without it being revealed or clear.
The focus of eternity is of redeemed humans eternal fellowship with God, so things like pets are not the focal point.

Be Surprised
But if the question will "animals" exist in eternity? Well if you are talking about the New Earth... maybe, possibly? But I don't think they will be necessary. We will be living in a righteous state with our focus on God.
If they are there on the new Earth, will it be the animals we loved as pets or newly created work animals, it is doubtful... but, God is good and kind and you never know, we could be surprised. But, speaking of Heaven...have you been born again? God said in order to go there we must be....
The Gospel ππ make sure you will be there
Hope this helped
