Note - Anglican 39

The Anglican Church came up with 39 Articles articulating their beliefs which separate Anglicanism from Catholic teachings in a way, but theres groups among Anglicsnism that are more Catholic than biblically Christianity.  

Among the 39 Articles, looking at 5 they believe: 

Authority of Scripture:

Article 6 states that "Holy Scripture contains all things necessary to salvation." This emphasizes the primacy of Scripture over tradition, contrasting with Catholicism, where church authority and tradition play a significant role.

Justification by Faith:

Article 11 asserts that individuals are justified by faith alone, aligning with Protestant beliefs. This differs from Catholic teaching, which emphasizes faith and works in the process of salvation.

Sacraments:

Article 25 recognizes only two sacraments (Baptism and the Eucharist/Lord's Supper) as instituted by Christ. In contrast, the Catholic Church recognizes seven sacraments, including Confirmation, Penance, and Holy Orders.

The Nature of the Church:

Article 19 presents the Church as a community of believers rather than a hierarchical structure centered around the Pope. This challenges the Catholic understanding of papal authority and the nature of the clergy.

Role of Tradition:

Article 34 states that the Church may make decrees for the governance of its members but should not bind the conscience of believers—a clear departure from Catholic practices that may impose church traditions as necessary for salvation.
