Many believers have not matured in the Faith and Word enough to understand Scripture properly. They'll misunderstand or not have fully formed proper accurate understanding on a matter until much later in life. People, particularly those actively pursuing it, are growing and growth takes time. But unless they have a very mature understsndinv on a matter, they shouldnt blast it out to the world [especially "youtubers"]. They profess to be wise but end up revealing theyre a fool, and lead masses of others astray into their error. Take much caution if you look at "Christian" content online, or better yet just stick with the content your pastor puts out [if the church holds to the Eseentials of the Faith, the biblical Gospel & pastor is a true believer, and one who studys Scripture deeply every week to bring sermons led by the Holy Spirit, (no sermon downloading or Ai sermons), & who holds that the Scriptures are the authoritative Word of God].  

Many folk in modern times have a wrong understanding of how someone gets saved, such things are taught in error in well meaning churches (and among those leaders and members who never did a deep study on it from Scripture). So it is understandable someone's soteriology initially could be wrong, even while studying, until educated; if he got saved (by God converting him, causing him to be born again), the bts of that are something he would grow to understand more of in time, and come into maturity on the biblical doctrine on salvation matters. It could even take 10 years to get there if you're in a weak church and dont study Scripture yourself. Same is true on other areas of biblical doctrines and theology. 

There are other areas of concern that folk need to take caution of Mike Winger too. 

If hes open to Annihilationism, then hes not seeing all the biblical doctrines and truths, (including who God really is), which are all strung along together...like a necklace of pearls; if you tug on to take one out, it all falls apart. Holding a wrong view on Hell/Lake of Fire, punishment after death, etc... leads one on the path to heresy. It is how cults become cults. They follow after their own ideas, others ideas looking at things from mans mindset [and out of context to fit a teaching they prefer], than from God's Word (the authority) and remembering God's higher thoughts and ways. Annihilationism is not biblical. A Christian shouldnt even entertain the idea of it. [And that resource explains why]. 

While many have used social media to inform them, most of these folk are consuming unbiblical content, and those consuming it are not in sound biblical churches...or simply not in church at all (let alone as a active member). Theyre not under the shepherds there (who God gave to the church) who expound on the Word, disciple and guide them in Holy living. They're off living some unbiblical solo Christian life, being "blown around by every wind of doctrine", including embracing "subtle doctrines of demons" online, which leads them into error, heresy and possibly apostasy (if not into a cult or religion masqurading Christian, or idolatrous beliefs those charlatans spout). These folk naively think anyone and anything that "claims to be" or uses the word "Christian" must be Christian. 🙄😒😔

Believers/professers of Christ must stop listening to every Tom Dick and Mary online, and get their biblical truth, and biblical worldview formed, foundationed and solidified from within their biblical local church that disciples them (from basics into maturity) otherwise they cant discern error from truth... and will be greatly led astray by decievers, & by your own heart that decieves, and follow after your own ideas into deep error. 

Guard your heart, mind, eyes and ears from deception >>>only listen to the shepherds in your local church. They will instruct you in the Word and into righteousness.
