Why Former Pastors leave Christianity
Former Pastor - believed a video claims of Bible inaccuracies, contradictions, and left Christianity for "self truth".
Q: I've seen former Church goers talk online about inaccuracies in the Bible (and note the fact that people can't hear that unless they want to). I was a minister that left because of what studying taught me.
My greatest wake up call was seeing a video entitled 200 words changed in the Bible,that was later washed from the internet. That video and the truths that followed shattered any preconceived notions that wanted to remain.
I have chosen to embrace "my truth".

Looks like what you were studying wasnt Truth or reputable resources if that was your conclusion.
Lots of people [who were decieved by wolves like you] "left the church", because of so called churches leaders like you. You are guilty of being the one who decieved others; false conversion, false teaching, false answers, along with causing church problems that lead to the church hurt and exiting (or destruction of faith) by many who wrongly blamed God for these things rather than rightly on those fallen humans, (who either due to intentional evil purposes or outright ineptness at their job) who are to blame. And you perpetuate it by further going on [publicly] about your detransition story, and of things that you now believe & cling to...all of which have been debunked long ago.
Many pastors, 63% to be exact, do not belong in the pulpit today. They neither are saved, nor know God, and thus have no spiritual eyes to see the Word in truth, nor the Holy Spirit indwelling to teach them Scriptural truth. They took the job for some status, power, position and money purposes; not godly purposes --not because God called you; he didn't. However, among the few who realize they're not saved, get saved. I know some pastors that was true about. But to masqurade as if you were a minister of God and Light, when really you were masqurading as a minister of darkness, and speak as if you were a Redeemed One, is disingenuous and damaging, to the naive, new and weak believer who comes across your detransition story. Destruction only followed those in your path. Intentionally or not, it's horrific.
*In addition your name says Karen, if so then you were in rebellion to God pretending and usurping mans place in God's design and in total opposition to God per Scripture NT (in black & white) qualification is only for a male [born with a penis], thus you are disqualified and never shouldve been allowed to masqurade as a "pastor".
Further, there are no inaccuracies in the Bible, no contradictions... there are difficulties, which take time to investigate but there are answers for them, again God's redeemed will find out with deep dive, or if their bible believing, authority holding born again Pastor preaches on that topic, they'll gain understanding as God reveals it. Today there are also resources one can use to find that out. One example is Carm.org. They have an detailed difficulties section book and verse by book and verse available for examination (linked above). Other places also have such helps.
You just simply chose to believe whatever doctrines of demons you came across to help you ease your conscience or excuse it...to exit Christianity since you didn't get what you wanted from it, or were "done with" the work Satan had planted you in a pastoral position for. He has many minions there in all areas but Jesus was clear... he will pull all the weeds out and the goats and toss them into eternal destruction. Yet God will use what others meant for evil, to bring about His good plans for the Elect and His purposes.
Of course if a simple video, (that "was taken down", clearly showing it was false information), was something that easily "destroyed your faith", it shows you never had any; it was so weak like chaf it blew away with the lightest breeze. Had you investigated it (similarly as folk did here on a related topic) you wouldve found out the video you "listened to" & "believed" was not true. So tell the truth...you embraced it/that to help you exit the faith as an excuse so you could go live in sin. You didn't want to continue the charade of your idolatrous moralism, felt trapped, and wanted to freely sin to your hearts content, since you didnt gain what you "hoped" you would from "Church" and it's people. It is good that God removed you.
The "my truth" mantra/belief is very clearly revealed in Scripture as sin and self focused idolatry. "The heart being desperately wicked", and we further know in sin "men go about doing what they each thought right in their own eyes". But people like you do this because you are trapped in your sin nature; chained to it. My hope is you are not a damned child of Satan, but that you need the seed of truth watered more to bring you to the place where God actually saves you, and leads you on the path of truth. You have not known Salvation, God or righteousness, but God is rich in mercy to all who call out to Him, so repent of your sins, fling yourself at the feet of your Creator God & Savior today, and God will transform you into a new creation. He will make your right with him, open your heart and eyes, give you spiritual life, eyes to see the truth on spiritual matters & Scripture, a true personal relationship with him, and eternal life where you'll forever be with Jesus.
Salvation is a limited time offer. Once you die it's too late. Don't die in your sins and be damned. Once saved, God gives you new and right desires so you love what is good and righteous, and hate what is false, evil and sinful. And you believe, trust and follow God.
