God gives us the DESIRES of OUR heart?

Unsaved people, [non Christians; those not born again by God...] are trapped in their sin nature. They cannot understand the things of God or righteousness as it is foreign to them

God explains in Scripture that their heart and mind is at emnity with God, with the things of righteousness, and they don't understand. They're blinded by Satan. Further Scripture tells us they only always continually sin, and the heart is desperately wicked, decieves and it leads to death and destruction.

So when a unsaved person says "We'll I was told the Bible says God gives us the desires of our heart"... their focused on the twisted erronious self focused fleshly sin nature mindframe of getting something they want for their selfish sinful desires, as if God is some kind if genie that serves them. That's an idolatrous false view. God is soverign and we were made for him and to have righteous & obedient desires; He reigns over our lives, not us.

This defines & explains what "desires" means and who they person is who is getting that fulfilled.

The main problem as noted is those who live idolatrously having a false god have a false understanding of the true God which is why they can't understand themselves in truth so thus they can't recieve the Gospel that saves.

They can embrace a false gospel and go to church living as idolatorus moralists as they continue to a hell bound destination in their sins. They can fool other pew sitting religious church goers and some Christians there, for a while, but sooner or later their bad fruit exposes them as false converts, or they walk away having shown they never were Christian at all.

Once you understand that God gives the redeemed of God the righteous desires of their hearts ->>that is they seek God's will, and follow him in obedience... then they'll get those things --because none if it is selfish, sinful or self seeking. God always gives us what is in His will. We are His servants in Christ & in righteousness, and are no longer serving ourselves (having died to our sinful self, daily carrying our cross as we follow Christ).

If God is opening your heart and you want to understand Christianity better, to understand the Gospel clearer so you can "recieve it, be made right with God and spend eternity with Jesus".... then start here

God bless
