Ministering tips for reaching & helping those who are dying 

Note that with any books suggested in these links that you can find an audio version for them to listen to. Many who are hospitalized do not have strength nor ability to hold a book, nor attention span to read. Their mind wanders too but an audio book is great. 

You can also have the Gospel of John on audio book or via a website read to them too.

If they get saved, consider a few things:

* Some kind of baptism if possible. 

* Have them tell their salvation testimony on camera and share with the church so he can proclaim his faith. 

* Post his testimony online with needGod.com link too

* Have him write or dictate a letter to his loved ones and add the gospel and his testimony to it. Have him sign it. Get his address book and mail a copy to everyone he knows. 

*If he wants to send specific letters to people or say certian things to people, do [him] a audio recorded letter and mail that by sdcard or text or email on his behalf. 

* Give the Gospel of John on audio book or via a website with audio like BibleGateway.

To minister to him, 

*Audio record the best verses from Scripture you can find to be a light to him in his final days. Ones that apply to him, that speak of Heaven and his right standing with God. Any positive blessed verses he can listen to over and over [& while asleep]. Make sure that device is fully charged every day. Such as his phone. If it is a hand held recorder device or something with batteries, make sure they are replaced daily. 

* Find out if anyone at church does wills and directives and ask them to come help him get his affairs in order. 

* If the hospital allows it, see if you can have his favorite meal delivered. 

* If hospital allows it, celebrate his born again birthday.

* If hospital allows visitors, invite a couple groups of people over from the church, at diff times, (mature believers), to welcome him to the family of God and look forward to meeting him in Heaven. Be excited for him getting to see Jesus before us.
