Holidays
Christmas
*Write letter about Christian points of things they did this year, include short praise reports, and fun things. Include a good gospel tract and put it with the christmas card. Let child help put a stamp on the envelope.  [Caution about santa tract (1).]
*You can refocus Christmas on Christ.
>> Read Christmas story, use images if needed
>>play Nativity story movie
>> create a list for now and future ideas how you can gift to others at Christmas, showing our kind caring loving towards others as God loved us by giving Jesus as a gift to us.
-- can include food pantry type giving, with a tract included.
--July: Samaritians purse gift box
--Christmas door tracts in neighborhood w slot for mini candy cane.

*Hand out Christian cookies.
-You can add cookies as a gift with your Christmas card & tract mailing to unsaved you know.
-You can make lil gift bags and put a tract in there and 2 cookies and can gift them to kids friends and to those you associate with, do business with, get service from, neighbors, and to coworkers.

-- early Christmas mini party at church or home for childs friends. Christ themed:
- Maybe show Superbook Jesus birth video.
- Light snack and J shaped cookies, with flavor water beverage.
- Place the J on the tree in the best place for it. One at a time to go.
-Play "Am I Guilty?" Put 10 rows up, labeled simply to 10 C, and have kids go stand in each of the area of things theyve done, and cry "😱 Oh noooo" and "guilty". If more than 1, stand in area 11. If too small of space, instead have them line up to a table and take round red sticker or 1-10 numbered lil round stickers. One for each one they did. After naming one, get sticker. Go back in line and say that one, each person walks to table aid and if theyve done it give the sticker. And they smash it on arm and say "oh no guilty!" Then have them sit and count how many 10C they have done against God.
-- you can have extended game if you want to list out lies kids say, and things they steal (including cheating on tests). And gosh, omg, God, etc, falls under blasphemy. Adultery just call it sexual sin; includes lgbt stuff, looking at dirty magazines or naked people. A lot of boys by age 9 or 10 are doing that already.
Then have them then sit for a skit.

-After video, Skit: a Jesus costumed person walks by, and Paul [who to tell the simplified gospel message] to a young NT person when he says " who was that?". ="Jesus who rose from the dead. Have you not heard the good news yet?" (Gospel).
-Include lil bag of couple goodies from oriental trading company and a kids tract to hand out as kids exit. To go home.
--> you can check at certian times of yr to buy these in advance, or at holiday for the upcoming year.

Reading of Christmas Story 📖 😍

Sharing Christ
A very neat idea for witnessing <<<
Give out Tracts <<< see footnotes 👍👇

Decorating
Here is an indoor idea for a tree
Family fun and bless the neighborhood:

If you have a place outside you might consider this idea: a Cross tree!

*Just make sure it is burn proof; Evil people out there today. And turn off the lights before bedtime; to avoid fires.

And finally... if you have a cross style window you can light it up and point the neighborhood to Christ 😀😊

Easter
Focus the day on Resurrection Day.
Similarly to how Christmas ideas at home are. Have a good time planned at home. You can do home stuff Sat, and Church stuff Sunday. Resurrection weekend. 🎉
Go to early Sunday sunrise service. Make sure kids go to bed early.
Maybe invite kids friends over from church and school for a easter party; themed Christian.
If not, focus on a church day if theres afternoon activities there. If not, volunteer to do so & invite school friends to join by rsvp.
If you volunter, plan a crock pot dinner meal in advance or thaw premade meal from freezer to fridge overnight for dinner when you get home.

BONUS activity:
Additionally, if you do memory verses (kids, teens, adults) you can play this game!

At Easter you could play I Hid Your Word in My Heart to see what difficult verses you have done well to memorize. Hide the reference location in plastic eggs and enjoy the memory hunt!
>For children use a specific color egg.
>Teens and adults could use a multi colored egg (either designed that way or mix match plastic pieces)
This way if kids find a harder verse, they can leave it there or kindly run a found egg to soneone older 🥰.
-Add up how many you find and how many you remember. High five everyone for efforts.
-Create some sort of sticker tally board for use during the year for memorizing, and let them add a bonus nice kind of sticker to Easter slot instead of a gold star. Each person gets 53 star slots in their row.

Btw, this game can be played with family, and sometimes at Easter on Resurrection Sunday with the church at a event.

Thanksgiving
This is a time where we give thanks to God for all he has given us, and for pilgrims coming here & freedom in America.

Operation Thankful:
You can have your kids write down 1 thing they are thankful to God for this year, and 1 thing they are thankful about each family members, the older ones can write what they are thankful to God for about every Christian they know; and write a short letter to them about it & mail it, or put them in a greeting card & hand or mail it.

Then at Thanksgiving meal, share what thing they are most thankful to God for this year, and one thing for each parent and one for each sibling. You can include grandparents as well.

Gather over snacks & read verses about being thankful. You could write them in a hard cover notebook and reread them every year, taking turns around the table.

Find Christian videos on thanksgiving, and the old Charlie Brown one is good too.

Birthdays
Allow us to praise and thank God for giving us life, and for the saved ones, for also giving us eternal life.

In fact, you can Also celebrate your Born Again birthday too in the same way. Use it as an opportunity to gather those you know and share your testimony and the gospel. What better way to reach those you know than such a birthdsy celebration?

Footnotes & tract links
(1) -CHRISTMAS
Theres varied tracts you can use at Christmas, but if you use the santa one make sure your child knows it is to tell people about Jesus, and make sure they understand how to simply tell other kids who ask her/him abiut santa "I believe in saint nick and Jesus who are in Heaven, not in santa." And have a cautious discussion so the child doesnt run around saying Santa isnt real. If kids tease him/her about that, make sure to have a well thought out simple reply they can give, which squashes the convo and helps them all still be friends.

-For gifting in cards, or lil bags at work
Or put in one of any of the good tracts.

You might be able to use this if you send social media holiday greetings to others you know (unsaved, church goers and Christians). Simply add this at the end (if you feel it is useful), or this Christmas gospel message [video] (i like it).
