Fun facts about the book of Isaiah:

66 chapters as theres 66 books of Scripture in the Bible.

The 1st 29 chapters are of judgment, like the number of books in the OT.
The 2nd half, 27 chapters, like the 27 books of the NT, are about salvation.

On the 29 chapters:
*the 1st 9 chapters of the second half on salvation are about salvation of Israel from the nations around it
*the last 9 chapters are about the salvation of the planet & on the new Heaven and new Earth
*the middle 9 chapters are about the salvation of people personally and individually
> and in the middle (of the middle 9 chapters) is Isaiah 53

Isaiah pulls it all together, and it narrows down to "He was wounded for our transgressions" and becomes the confession of all who believe in Christ Jesus, the promised Messiah, including one day the future nation of Israel.
