Church music?

Music that worships the Lord and encourages other believers falls into three different "styles" of music: "Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord." Ephesians 5:19

Much of CCM music had no place in church. Nor does music that is repetative like chants.

Personally I do not like 99% of modern music in church, it doesnt have a place there among a service of order, and you have to consider all age groups in a congregation setting.

Hymns, modern hymns and some appropriate contemporary music such as Hymns of Grace, Phillip Web and Jubilant Sykes are lovely and have a respectful, honorable, worshipful place in church worship.

The above include wonderful orchestral type music, piano, organ and various drums.*
It is reverant and respectful music that has a place in proper worship settings.

Church is not a place for rock concerts.
Yet, you can enjoy that kind, as long as it is biblical/ God honoring, at home.
