bashing others*

False teachers
Q: I'm going to just start blocking all the folks bashing people like JD Greear, Bart Barber, Rick Warren, Brent Leatherwood etc.

A: Define bashing. Is it righteous judging or rude judgmentalism without truth? Is it just when you feel like "someone is a meanie" even if there's legit merit to the criticism?

I think theres a difference between rude attitudes, and genuine criticism to call out false teachers. We are to be vigilant to subtle doctrines of demons creeping into the church. We also are to judge righteously and within the church too. We should not allow false teachers to gain a platform nor allow them to speak nor reach their tentacles into biblical Christianity. The church has allowed progressivism and heresies in, in the last 25 years, and it is why we are in such a mess; the church and the culture because wishy washy pastors let the demons in and they've taken root like weeds and overrun many churches and individuals beliefs.

Personally I would just point people to the "Why" as a case being made, so they can examine it and straight away seek God's counsel from Scripture (and even mature believers who are solid-solid in the Word), pray on it, and come to a truthful conclusion, and stand firm on it. Light and darkness do not mix. Those not for the Truth are against it, and an enemy of God. Far too many false converts are in the church, and few seek truth because they are not born again.
