True saving faith comes as the result of believing on Jesus Christ, God’s Son, to solve your sin problem. It is trusting him. Joining a local church can be valid expressions of your new life, because the local congregation is actually for those who do follow Christ & worship God. But it is only useful to someone who is saved (born again). The church is meant to be where God's actual people gather to worship and serve Him. Others might go there to visit or think theyre accomplishing something by attending, but church doesnt save you, only Jesus can.
Remember, Religion cant help - only Christ can. So, I am hopeful you meant "Returning to Faith". Just remember, Christianity is not about religion, but is about becoming a follower of Christ.
Make sure you obey the Gospel today to get right with God and become born again. Persevere in the faith, love righteousness, turn from all sin, and become more holy like Jesus. Read the Bible daily, obey what you read, and stay in the faith.
The moment you obey the Gospel, God will radically transform you into a new creation. Jesus called it being Born Again. Born from above, by God's Spirit. Converting you to a lover of righteousness and one who hates sin.
