Delaying Salvation
Q: Cant we just live a sinful sinfilled life and get saved on our deathbed?
A: When are you going to die? How long will you live?
God never promised people a long life. Reality says we dont die at 100 or 120. Babies, toddlers, kids, teens, college age, young adults, 30, 40, 50, 60 year olds all die.
160k a day and 67.1 million every year. Today it can be your day. Heart attack, car crash, random accident, sink hole, car crash, murder, or any countless ways. We need salvation today.
Also, God has a limit to people refusing to obey the Gospel, and it can very well be well before "you" get old. It could be today or tomorrow. And it's too late for you.
This is the thing people need to understand. Today is the day of salvation. You could die in 5 minutes.
If you play chicken with "Death" you are taking a huge gamble. Plus you miss out on the blessings, rewards, and what you can recieve in eternity, so why lose 90% of the opportunities and rewards by refusing to repent "till you are old" and end up poor in eternity, out of choice to have hardly any time "to store up treasure in Heaven." 🙃
