Eden, Eve and Etc, & Who Leads?

Who is in charge? 

The one with authority has great responsibility. 

NT tells is why men (husband/male pastor) are to have authority over women, it points to Eden, to the creation order. And in Eden, created order was Man then woman, as a helper and companion. He is to be the authority and protector in the home, and over the woman. His role is above hers because that is how God created/designed it to be. 

Woman also was the one who disobeyed God, causing her husband to sin and brought the fall of mankind. She was under her husbands authority but he then "he followed her leadership"causing the fall; he allowed her to do what she shouldn't have done. He should have stopped her. But instead it all was messed up. Had she obeyed her husband when he 1st told her not to, and had he, who was right there with Eve and the servant chatting, had told her not to talk to it, not to listen to it, to trust God and obey, as he has given us everything and only asked 1 thing from us. Had he said to Eve, everything he is offering us, we already have. We are content with what God gave us. Had she listened to her husband and stayed under his authority and protection of safety, and been guided in faith to trust God... she would've obeyed her husband and told satan to kick rocks, better yet, Adam wouldve stood between Eve and it, and said kick rocks, dont talk to my wife.  

This doesn't mean men shouldn't listen to their wives, but that they shouldn't abide any contradictions to God.
