Did Jesus contradict himself?

Did Jesus contradict Himself?
No. He created a contrast.
Matt 5:17-19 & Luke 16:16-17

When Jesus said, “Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled” in Matthew 5:18, He was stating emphatically that God’s Word is true and trustworthy. God has spoken, His words have been written down accurately, and what God has said will surely come to pass.

The smallest letter will be fulfilled.

Jesus fulfilled the Law in the believers place (by living a perfect life that only God could, and dying on the cross for our sins, to transfer His righteousness to us, and by the resurrection, gave believers victory ovet the grave By faith and forgiveness offered by God thru Jesus).

Both are true.

1. God's word is forever truth

2. How it applies:

A. Since fulfilled, not required to keep the law, since Jesus did it already on our behalf.

B. For the unsaved they are condemned under the Law for their sins and that includes unbelief in the Messiah.

Are there contradictions in the Bible?
No, but there are difficulties

Many today dont investigate to find the truth, and Thomas Paine didnt have access to the internet to get all of his difficulties resolved from what he thought were contradictions... but you can. 😊
