Questions about the Believer and Sin
1) Do Christians sin after they're saved?
2) What happens if you sin one second before your death?

1. Yes Christians sin but it is because we cannot live a perfect life in this sin stained body, but Jesus lived perfectly on our behalf. Those born again are not like the unsaved - we do not plot sin, plan sin and wallow in it, we do not lust after sin or enjoy it.
We are told we have a new nature in Christ; we are simply transformed by God. We were crucified with Christ. Our old self was crucified and we were given spiritual life by God, so we love righteousness and hate sin. We stumble and find ourselves in it sometimes but we repent and get back on the right path, are continually molded and growing, we persevere in the faith & keep following Jesus.
Jesus is why we are saved, why we are right with God & Jesus is why we get into Heaven. It isn't about us keeping the Law, it isn't about sinning less or not sinning anymore. Yes we should love God and not sin anymore and yes we are to conquer sin, but we need to understand that our salvation isn't by works we do but by our faith in Him. He lived perfectly in our place.
Read Romans 7 & 8 (or the whole book of Romans) for solid clarity and understanding.
2. Our sins are forgiven, once for all time, fully paid for on the cross.
3. A Christian can be in sin, and not repentant and not turning away from it. This is why Scripture talks about going to a brother if you sinned, also if you havent corrected yourself and someone finds out your sin, they come to you to lovingly call you back to your senses and to right living, also if escalation is needed to bring a couple others to you if you do not repent, and escalate to elders/pastor for examination & counseling, if still not repentant, pastor calls you out in church service and asks those who know you to go to you to reason with them and restore them. If the person refuses still, the church is to throw them out until they repent, so they can be restored.
It is best to be repentant and restored quickly, because God can come in and discipline you in innumerable ways, losses etc and even to be sick in hospital, get struck by a disease, or die & be brought home (out of this world/death)... if you persist. He has no use here for a disobedient servant.

A Christian should be sensitive to the Holy Spirit and to being saturated in Scripture daily. If one is in Scripture it is rare they will veer off the right path & into sin.
👉Looking at what it cost Jesus and thoughts about sin, should keep us focused on righteousness and have no desire to do sin. 🐊
