Who is Good?
Some think people have a good heart.
IS that what Scripture says? Are you sure about that? Have you read the Bible? Have you forgot what it says as you are not reading it daily?
"The heart is deceitful above all things, desperately wicked; who [but God] can know it?" Jeremiah 17:9
God has told us we will all earn "our wages". But if we are born again through Jesus, we dont get what we deserve and do get what we dont deserve.
Who are the "good ones" people speak of?
God revealed to us in the Bible that no one is good, but God. That every human is evil, Jesus even said that of his disciples. And in OT that the heart is decietfully wicked, and God knows it (mans thoughts, actions and words), of each person.
Evil entered through Adams sin, but God had already known that would happen. We are told that God has known all of mankind's history (from 1st human to last human) before the triune God even created the universe. And revealed even more, that He knows who is in the Book of Life, they were all listed before He even created humans.
Thus is why Jesus would be the Messiah, only God could reconcile us to Himself, as only He is perfect And only He has the qualifications and ability to redeem people. The fact that He offers us forgiveness, salvation and eternal life, is amazing. Rescuing people who are headed to eternal Hell.
