Teach kids Atheism?

A question arises sometimes among atheists and agnostics when discussing Christianity & God.

"You want my kids to be taught about God, but why then dont you teach your kids about atheism?"

A:  you do realize public school kids are taught atheism and evolution every day nonstop at school, on tv, in movies and music right? They have no access to or education about the Bible & Christianity.

Schools have kids brains k-12 and 4 years in college.. 350+ days a year, 8 hrs a day right? Even if nonChristian parents had their kids go to church every Sunday to learn about God.... that is only 52 hours a year. And a lot of it is not in depth teaching at young age. Its simple basics that doesnt scratch the surface. Plus those under 13 do not have the vocabulary and cannot understand the Bible simply while reading it. 

Teens can read books, read the Bible, go to church and get answers as they learn, but parents have to provide that opportunity and encourage it to get educated.

Locate by zipcode. If one not nearby, locate closes then call them, ask the pastor for a recommendation church nearest you. 

*Parents attending Sunday school with the kids, is good because it gives parent insight into the topics discussed, and might answer questions they have too. Even if you attend worship to hear the sermon too. You can simply tell the Sunday School teacher you are agnostic/atheist but want your children to have opportunity to learn about God and Christianity, so you are all there. That way they know you are not a believer and will be helpful so they arent assuming you are Christian, and try to guide you to serving in the church (that is only for born again people). And if you have questions in general about God, Jesus, the Bible etc you can get the Subday School teacher, one of the elders or decons and pastors email address for conversations. Even if you dont like their answers, you are getting them answered. Being connected this way is beneficial to you to understand Christianity better and for your kids to get a basic understanding over the years.
