God is Love

People today do not understand God, do not read the Bible, and create misinformation about God. Errors typically get spread by those creating catchy mottos, quotes or phrases, and it leads to teaching false information, and false theology. Those who usually repeat these phrases & beliefs are not Christian.

1. Primarily God (the Father) showed His love to Jesus (the Son) by the redemption of mankind He gave all saved humans to Jesus. Jesus loves the Father and in return, (when we redeemed get to Heaven), returns these humans back to Him. God loving humans is Secondary to the triune God's love for one another.

Love requires truth. Real truth, not the counterfeit subjective one of today. All of God's attributes; character & nature, work together and are not seperated nor flawed like mankind is and lives out.

2. Let's look at God and his love for humans:

These verses tells is how God loves us.

John 3:16:

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

1 John 4:9-10:

"In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him. In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins."

Romans 5:8:

"But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us."

God shows love to mankind, but as this verse shows us -he showed it to us >>> in Christ. The cost to bring salvation to mankind was extreme and he went to great lengths to do this for us [who don't deserve it]. That's what makes Grace so amazing.

To have and experience God's love we must first have Christ. We must recieve the gift he gave us in Christ. Not in an idolatrous way but in truth according to what he revealed to us in Scripture.

Once saved we are Children of God, adopted, loved and greatly cared for. God is with all who are redeemed, and helps us through this life as we march towards death and ushers us into Christs presence. Not only that but for those who will be saved Scripture tells us an Angel is with us until the day of salvation. So take heart and rejoice. Our joy is in our salvation. Our peace is in Christ. We can confidently live no matter what we encounter as God is with us.

Once we are right with God [through Jesus, by the Gospel], at salvation, He caused us to be born again, thus we have spiritual life, by that we have the righteous nature. That means we are restored to who God originally designed us to be. We thus have the restored communicable atrributes of God that he designed us to have. And from that we have the attribute of love. True love like God's attribute. (Not the distorted false love those in the sin nature live out which is steeped in corruption and sin).
