"Lord I believe, but help my unbelief."
1st, have you obeyed the Gospel, and been born again - by God?
If so,
It is understandable a person who claims to be a believer has doubts. It drives us to the Bible, and to study evidences. That is totally fine. It strengthens your faith and gives you solid assurance.
Like the man, cry I out to Jesus:
Matt. 9:24
If you are saved, know that nothing can take you from Jesus. Your name is in the Book of Life. Jesus has already bought and paid for you. He redeemed you. Pick up your cross and follow Him daily. You serve Him. You no longer serve yourself, you no longer feed your sinful lusts. The old you was crucified on the cross. Live in newness of life, by the indwelling Spirit.

We need to examine if weve allowed sin and sins to keep us out of fellowship with God and the local church. Are you not reading the Bible, are you not praying, are you not active in the Church (attending Sunday School, Worship, and serving with the gifts God has given you too)? That's the first thing to examine. The next step is to meet with your pastor for brief counseling advice.
Then, look into the Faith to solidify your faith, get answers and hold firm to the Truth.
Assurance of our salvation comes not from how much faith we have, but from the object of our faith: Jesus.
We are reminded to examine ourselves, and if in the faith, Trust Him and His Word, revealed in the entire Scriptures.
1 John 5:11-13 - "And the testimony is this, that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life."
"By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain." 1 Corinthians 15:2
John 6:37 - "All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will certainly not cast out." - Jesus

🌟 Investigate Christianity 🌟
When you became a believer, you trusted in what God has said in the Bible. You learned things that could not be made up by or written by men. You understand God wrote the Bible across time through the humans he chose to do so through. So you believe the evidences and eyewitnesses based on what you learned, and Christianity became reasonable to you, as the truth. You trust that God gave us the Bible & He never lies.
But, you can solidify your faith and have stronger convictions about it, by investigating the solid evidences around Christianity, God, Jesus, salvation and the Bible, and a bit about history. This is helpful to you, but also for when you have Christian convos with others 😊. As is reading Scripture daily. Reading cover to cover on repeat during our yearly walk so we stay grounded and firm in the Word; we can be prone to forgetfulness. And it is why memorizing important verses is also a good practice; store the Word as treasure in our hearts and minds.

Note, Luke was a gentile who knew Paul. He investigated the things surrounding Jesus and the Apostles; he investigated Christianity, and was an investigator & historian writing down the things he learned. He was not an Apostle, but adds to the assurance of the NT Scriptures the earliest evidence based investigation into these things. If anything was amiss and not as Christians claimed... he would have said so.
God used Luke to write Luke and Acts.
God gave the Gospels to give us a complete image of Jesus.

Daily walk
One of the big reasons those in church have doubts about their faith is that they do not even know the Bible, and are not reading it daily. That is a failure on our part that we need to rectify. If we are disciples of Christ, following Him as our Savior then we need to learn that God has told us so we can obey it.
Stay in the Bible daily, to keep walking rightly with Christ. Here are some great Bible reading plans. Pick one and complete it, then pick another, go thru them all, then pick differemt ones. Christians read the Bible daily for life. It is our life guide. It is God's special revelation to you. The Bible is God communicating with you daily, and prayer is you communicating with Him.
*set alarm on your phone for 20 to 30 min of daily reading in the Bible. Make sure to spend time in the Word is God communicates with you. You have a personal relationship with Him, it is not a one sided relationship. And prayer is you talking with God.
