Sell Soul?

Can people sell soul to Satan?

No. They either belong to their Father God, or their Father the Devil, from eternity past before Creation. 

There is a warning of not valuing the soul over temporary earthly things, 

Matthew 16:26 " For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man give in return for his soul?"

This is typically the verse referenced when soneone sells or enslaves themselves to the world or satan for power, money & fame. But if they already belong to him then it is just by how much they can influence others for satan, and pile up coal/sins on their own heads. They mistakenly think they're benefitting, but actually they're being used to further Satan's plans to deceive, destroy others & to drag multitudes to Hell. 

"You travel the sea and the land to make one convert, and then when he is converted, you make him twice as much a son of hell as you are." Matthew 23:15

You cannot serve two masters. You belong to one.

“present yourselves to anyone as obedient slaves of the one whom you obey, either of sin, which leads to death, or of obedience, which leads to righteousness" (Rom 6:13)

but note Jesus said... John 10:29

"My Father, who has given [the redeemed] to Me...and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand."

As Rev 21:27 says "only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life [shall enter Heaven]."...so those from eternity past, chosen by God before the world was even created, were written in the Lambs book of Life...  "... just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself." Ephesians 1:3-6

They shall not be Satan's. Never were & never will be. 

Heb 1:14 "Are not angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation". God has appointed Angels to protect and watch over those who will be saved. God directs their work to us, and we also will judge angels. 

But those who are Christ's bought with His blood, are eternally His.  Praise God. 

Ephesians 1:11

"In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will"
