God sends people to Hell for 20-90 years of sin?
God sends people to eternal Hell just
for 20-90 years of sin? How is that Just?
It is great when people ask good questions.
Well, 1 Sin during that entire timespan, whether you live 15 years, 30, 80 or 100, damns. Doesn't matter after that.
Sin is sin.
Romans 3:10 as it is written,
“There is none righteous, not even one
Romans 3:23
for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God
Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
1 sin damns. James 2:10: For whoever fails in one point of the Law has become guilty of all of it. If you break 1 law you are guilty of breaking the Law.
What is the Law?
The 10 Commandments.
The Law points to the moral perfection of God.
The Law is a mirror that reveals how sinful we are. How horribly we violate it constantly, in thought, word and deed.
The Law is a schoolmaster to lead us to Christ Jesus.
All sin is a sin against God.
God is perfect and Holy. He is moral perfection. We fallen humans are not. Nothing sinful can be in His presence. He will judge it immediately and recieve eternal wrath.
But why hasn't He yet?
Ezekiel 18:23
I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, declares the Lord God, I would rather that he should turn from his way and live.
2 Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish >> but for all to come to repentance.
Hebrews 9:27
And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment<<
You will stand Before Him and be Judged and Condemned if you do not have Christ/are not born again.
There is no other place for sinners who die than eternal Hell. Fortunately you are in a Western country or know English and have been exposed to the Gospel. What God did for us is so incomprehensible and yet did it, and offers us Salvation and freedom from eternal wrath. We dont deserve it, but > He offers to not give us what we deserve, and give us what we don't deserve, because he made The Way possible... thru Jesus. So, you don't have to go to eternal Hell. Simply Repent and trust in Jesus.
Jesus said, Repent and believe the Gospel
the Gospel <<<<
Simply Repent of your sins, (once and for all), and trust in Jesus. His work on the cross paid your fine in full to God. So you can go free from the court room of Justice. Jesus took your place on the cross, took the eternal wrath of God for your sins while on the cross as the Sacrificial lamb. He was our substitute. We can now be covered/clothed in the righteousness of Christ.
1 John 2:2 He is the propitiation for our sins
1 John 1:7 the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin
And you, who were dead in your trespasses ... God made alive together with him [In/through Christ], having forgiven us all our trespasses, by canceling the record of debt that stood against us with its legal demands. This he set aside, nailing it to the cross. 2 Corinthians 5:21
When Jesus died, he said It Is Finished. The Greek word means "Paid in Full". He can pay your debt, and you can go free.
Jesus offeres to switch places with us. We are then seen as perfect, because of Christ. Though we are still sinners, God has transformed us, made us a new creation the moment of our conversion, the moment of salvation we are born again. We recieve Spiritual Life, and the Holy Spirit comes to live in us. Sealed us to God, eternally belonging to Jesus.
God did something so amazing for us, we should desperately grab at that offer, and live. Live eternally, live in a right relationship with God. Live.
You don't know when you will die. Life is short. Get right with God today.
The Gospel of Christ has the power to convert souls.
Recieve it today.
Did you know?
The Angels don't even have a chance at redemption. But mankind does.
2 Peter 2:4
For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but cast them into hell and committed them to pits of darkness, reserved for judgment
But God has offered it to us.
John 3:16
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
The one who came from GOD (the trinity), who is God, who came as a representation of God [*in OT times, the son was the representative of the Father for legal or other purposes, sent firth from the father to do his will]
He came to do the work that was decided to be done. To redeem man from Sin. And he accomplished it. He rose from the dead having victory over the grave, so humans could rise from the dead, [recieve Spiritual Life], and be with God eternally. Things will be as they were meant to be, before the fall. And that will take place when God destroys this earth and creates a new Heaven and New Earth fit for eternity, sin free. Suffering free, it will be a place of eternal peace, only good, righteousness, and love. Beyond what we could ever imagine. Though some prophets and Apostles have told us what they were allowed to reveal. It pales in comparison to what it will be.
Spend eternity in Heaven.
Choose life.
If you see sin for what it truly is...
The doctrine of eternal torment will sober you. It fill you with praise to God for offering salvation from eternal punishment, & for giving you eternal life instead. It will humble you when you realize you’re not getting what you deserve. And it would ignite in you a passion to proclaim the gospel to those poor souls who are unaware of the terror that awaits them outside the mercy of God. Just like Christians do. We go and proclaim the Gospel just like what this FAQ did today.
.
Keep in mind....There's Spiritual life and spiritual death. Currently unsaved humans are spiritually dead. Its what happened to Adam and Eve after they sinned. Thru faith in the Messiah, Jesus, Humans recieve Spiritual Life. *Our spiritual connection to God is restored.
The second death is just a way of saying the place of eternal punishment. Souls are eternal, if God eliminated souls he wouldn't have said damnned/unsaved dead people would go to the place designed for the fallen angels (Satan and the demons). Hell was created them, not humans.
God wants all to be made spiritually alive again. But he gave you free will so you will have the option to be born again. He will save those who are in Christ.
You've had opportunity to recieve the Gospel of salvation.
Will you get right with God today?
Fast facts
Hell is discussed I'm the Bible:
*Over 160 times in the NT
*By Jesus over 70 times
*God has revealed to us about Hell in the Bible over 225 times
We will live eternally because God made us eternal.
Annihilationis the false belief that man will cease to exist upon his death. It doesn’t work because in Genesis 1:26, God explains we’re made in His image. We’re made eternal beings. God cannot annihilate us because He’s already made us eternal; He made us to live with Him forever. If people reject Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, they will live eternally separated from God in Hell. Not separated from His wrath, but separated in relationship.
Universalism falsely believes that if a person spends two or three hundred years in Hell they will then stand before God and say, “I’ve paid for my sin. Let me out now.” We could never pay for sins, as that would be works. Ephesians 2:8-9 says we are saved by grace, not by works. Time is the wrong premise. It’s not based on time, it’s based on a relationship with Jesus Christ. Our time is not valuable enough to pay for our sins. Only the shed blood of Jesus is valuable enough to pay for our sin. Hebrews 9:22 says “without the shedding of blood, there is no remission of sins.” The whole concept of time is wrong.
People Will Never Get Out Of Hell
If God were to let someone out of Hell after a few hundred years, where would He put them? He can’t take people to heaven in our fallen nature because Revelation 21:27 says, “He’ll let nothing into heaven that defiles or corrupts.”
The unsaved are separated from Him right now. They would make a mess of heaven if He let them in the way they are. He has to give them a new heart and a new spirit, and that doesn’t come through time spent in Hell. It comes through salvation offered thru the Gospel, to those humans still alive. You can have a relationship with Jesus today. You should turn to Him for ut today, as tomorrow is not guaranteed.
Hebrews 9:27
And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment
Anyone written in the Lamb’s book of life goes to heaven (Rev 21:27) -eternal conscious bliss
Those not written in the Lambs book of life go to hell (Rev 20:15)- eternal conscious torment.
