6 Days Creation? 📍

What's the issue for Christians around the literal 6 days of Creation?

Christians stand on the authority of Scripture.  So if someone believes in some "beginning" other than  a literal 6 day creation ... 😱 they're actually calling God a liar. & we know God never lies; He is perfect; He is Good and Holy**. So the problem then is with the humans incorrect way of thinking.

God created it all. Everything that exists anywhere, He Created it.

God created everything that exists, and told us He [as the Trinitarian God] created the Earth, Humans and all that is in the Heavens and Earth. He created time, Space and Matter out of nothing.

Genesis 1:1

The 1st thing God tells us in the 1st book of the Bible:

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

The 1st thing God tells us in the beginning of the New Testament:

John 1:1

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God

He was in the beginning with God.

Exodus 20:11

God Reminded them,

"For in six days [I] Yahweh made the heavens and the earth, the sea and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day"

Revelation 3:14 "This is what the Amen, the faithful and true Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God, says" [Jesus speaking]

Hebrews 1:10

And, “You, Lord, in the beginning founded the earth, And the heavens are the works of Your hands

1 John 2:14

you have known Him [Jesus] who has been from the beginning

Hebrews 1

God, having spoken long ago to the fathers in the prophets in many portions and in many ways, in these last days spoke to us in His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, *through whom also He made the worlds,* who is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and *upholds all things by the word of His power; who, having accomplished cleansing for sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high

But of the Son He says,

“Your throne, O God, is forever and ever

You, Lord, in the beginning founded the earth,

And the heavens are the works of Your hands;

They will perish, but You remain;

And they all will wear out like a garment,

And like a mantle You will roll them up;

Like a garment they will also be changed.

But You are the same,

And Your years will not come to an end.”

Proverbs 8:23

From everlasting I was installed, From the beginning, from the earliest times of the earth.

Isaiah 40:21

Do you not know? Have you not heard? Has it not been declared to you from the beginning? Have you not understood from the foundations of the earth?

Isaiah 41:4

Who has worked and done it, Calling forth the generations from the beginning? ‘I, Yahweh, am the first; and with the last, I am He.’”

Isaiah 41:26

Who has declared this from the beginning, that we might know?

Isaiah 46:10

Declaring the end from the beginning, And from ancient times things which have not been done, Saying, ‘My counsel will be established, And I will accomplish all My good pleasure’

Jeremiah 17:12

A glorious throne on high from the beginning Is the place of our sanctuary.

Colossians 1:17 He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.

Why it matters

Importance of Genesis as literal 6 days

Importance of truth

Therefore,
Those who claim to be Christian and hold some other view, are either not Christian, dont read or know Scripture, or have been decieved by doctrines of Satan. Satan is a liar and the Father of lies.* He is a deciever and has been since the beginning. *

If you believed this lie, throw it away, repent and turn back to truth. 👍

The Scriptures came from God and all within it is the truth. Trust God. Trust Scripture.

The Bibles Importance for Christians

One of the biggest sources of problems with "Christians" today, is that they do not read the Bible and do not submit to God's revealed Word. They don't even know what it says!  A study (across many churches) was done a few years back that showed 😱 only about 2% in churche actually read the Bible regularly or daily.

? Let me ask you. Would you ever be in a close relationship with someone if you never talked to each other every day? If you are Spouse A, Would you be ok with Spouse B only talking to you but you never being able to talk to them? Would you be ok of Spouse B constantly only asked you for things and never had an actual relationship with Spouse A? (🤷‍♀️ No way!).

You cannot be in a relationship with God and see him as some cosmic genie who only hears from you and only grants you wishes. That's not God.

The Bible is God communicating with you, and prayer is you communicating with God. How can you say you follow Jesus when you don't even know Him? You don't know His teachings, you do t know what He has said or revealed to you- from Genesis to Revelation? Did you think you only communicate with Him and open the Bible on Sunday? What kind of relationship is that?? No one in their right mind would stick around with a S.O. or even a friend who only showed up to get what they wanted and bounced. And you are claiming to be of the church- the bride of Christ?

A personal relationship with God is a daily relationship. It's not just that we pray without ceasing, (praying for His Will). But that we are to hide the Scriptures in our heart. Treasure the Word, be washed and renewed by the Word* - daily. Not just washing ourselves from dirt (sin), not just remembering John 3:16, but by being in the Word. Scripture tells us We should not be babies in the faith and not know Scripture, but we should be in the deep things of Scripture.

Pastors spend a lifetime expounding on the treasures of the Word, and we should be in it daily. If we love Jesus we need Him. We live Him, we follow Him. And that requires us to be constantly in the Word.

As a Christian you should be wanting to be in the Word daily. You can't help but soak yourself it it.

So, if you claim to be a believer, starting today,, set a daily alarm on your phone for 15 to 30 minutes of quiet time in the Word and God will speak to you. Not fir you to cherry pick something and make it about you, but fir God to reveal Himself to you so you submit to Him, and hold His Word as the Authority in your life, as Truth and eternal fact.

*Also enjoy a audio Bible as you read along. (*Not in replacement of revering the Word in print), but as a helpful assistant. Even if you cannot read well, you can listen and skim the words.
*You can also journal notes and questions.
