Why is there sin? Do we have a wrong understanding

Q: Why does some god get to dictate how u live...

and why if u don’t abide by his set of rules u go straight to eternal hell. I dont understand this. 

A:  We do not get to sit in judgement over God, he us the judge of all.

1. Why would God create us if some will go to Hell? 

 2. To answer your main question: I think there's misunderstanding. God created us perfect, mankind brought sin and corruption into the world at the Fall. From then on we were all corrupted (let's say like a computer virus damages the software, and it's corrupted and broken. It needs to be repaired). It stays corrupted until the Master installs the fix, reboots and total repair is set back to factory default. Still might have a few glitches as it's basically refurbished. 

If it's broken and not repairable and it won't fix with the reboot, it's tossed in the dumpster. 

Basically we got broken, theres a glitch in our system. God offers the way to be repaired and restored to original design; he will fix our relationship with Him, through Jesus. The perfect one. The instant fix & reboot happens when God's Holy Spirit converts us into a new creation (born again). Then we no longer live in sin and love or lust after sin, but we now love righteousness and we love God and are in a right relationship with Him. Walking with Jesus daily (now and for eternity). As we were originally designed to be, in fellowship with God. 

Everyone will either die "fixed" or "broken". One gets tossed, one is kept. One is prized, one is trashed. 

You don't keep bad fruit and eat bad fruit or bad meat. When something unreparable reaches the end of its life, you throw it out. You don't keep a useless unrepairable computer or thing, you throw it out. You don't want to, but it's not salvageable. This is in the same way the explanation of the things you didn't understand when you judged God because of your lack of knowledge.

It's not about rules to obey (10 Commandments), it's that God shows us we are incapable of being so (being perfect), but with God transforming us thru Jesus, he simply saves us, and we become right with God, are now enabled to live rightly, we become more and more holy until we enter eternity (and are perfected the instant we step thru that doorway). We are saved as the Righteousness of Jesus covering us; since he took our place on the cross and took the eternal punishment for our sins, having received that offer, we were made right with God (while we were alive on earth). He did all the work for us, we just have to embrace it. Once saved, we eternally belong to Him. And are now children of God, redeemed, saints, glorious ones, friends of Jesus, chikdren of the King, and will live eternally in peace and joy, and where sin will never enter in nor stain anything again.

Christians dont have a "what I believe" mentality, we have a "God said it & His Word is our ultimate authority on all things." We simply submit to what He has said and revealed in it. 

People choose to do what they do because it's all they know. Which is why some will say, I believe in myself or I don't want to betray how I feel or what my worldly heart belief is about moral topics, I just want to do what I want to. These, They have never experienced life with God; A actual personal relationship with Him, and a love for the Savior who did so much. They do not have true knowledge of God, a true understanding either. And this is why there is much misunderstanding. 

Unless you come to God so he can restore you to who you were made to be, you will be broken and of no value to Him.

Come meet the Creator and Savior, and surrender to Him. There is freedom in Him, there is peace between you and God, there is peace and joy in your heart that no one can take away. And there's eternal life as a free gift. God loves those who are His, and will do what's gest fir them, while also carrying it His will and plan for their life, and among the bigger picture of mankind. Come to have true life, and life more abundant.  Life with God is not some instant thing where life will be without difficulties. Yiu will simply have God's peace through difficulties, and can rest and stand firmly in the truths and promises God has received in Scripture. We are still in a Fallen sin stained world. Eternity with God will be the place without sin and suffering, it will be a good place where sin will never enter and there will be perfect love and peace in the New Heaven and New Earth. 

God is waiting to provide a miracle to all who obey the Gospel. He will will transform you to a New creation the instant you are saved. You will no longer wallow in & love sin ....but will love truth and righteousness and God.
